There are also rumors that Xia Qian, the dark horse of the singing world, died related to Shen Weiyi, but because there was no evidence, the speculation remains mere guesswork.
While Shen Weiyi, once a prominent sensation, was pushed to the brink of public scrutiny, Lin Chu and Qi Ming awaited the arrival of the first snow at the Riverfront Apartment.
She wasn't concerned, nor did she feel elation; just calm.
Outside, things were chaotic, but the wealthy villa area where she resided remained quiet; upper-class families do not get involved in the entertainment industry's antics.
New Year should be celebrated in its own manner; even Qi Ming, usually not very active, took fireworks out to play in the yard, illuminating the surroundings brightly.
Perhaps caught up in the spirit, Lin Chu joined her son in playing.
She suddenly recalled New Year many years ago, when it also snowed heavily—despite the arguments, Lu Huai'an accompanied her back to the Lin Family home.
