Brandan lowered his head to look at her, eyes filled with suspicion, "Could it be that you did something?"
Iris couldn't help but find it funny, "You didn't give me any birth control pills, so even if I wanted to, I couldn't prevent it. Why don't you consider that it might be you who can't?"
"That mouth of yours..." Brandan, a bit annoyed, bit her, "It only makes people happy when you don't speak."
Iris pushed him, "Get up. I need to take a bath now."
Brandan let her go, but as she was getting up, he scooped her up into his arms, "Brandan, what are you doing!" Iris screamed in fright.

Iris lay slumped at the edge of the tub, drowsy.
