Edward Stephens kept a cold expression and led Daisy Ginger out of the courtyard.
Daisy hesitated for a moment and turned her head to glance behind her, seeing Robert Stephens still sitting there, his expression indifferent, giving no sign of joy or anger.
Towards this younger brother of his, he indeed had a special fondness, and even with Edward Stephens speaking to him this way, he showed no sign of anger.
It's just as he said, "No matter how badly one might treat others, it's impossible to treat him badly"...right?
"Sir..." Charlotte Smith cautiously approached Robert Stephens and called to him softly.
The man's expression was obscure with emotions, continually watching Edward's figure, and only when he completely vanished from view did he calmly retract his gaze.
