'Damn it!' Tigrath cursed internally as it limped away at full speed.
Despite its injury, its speed still outclassed the Dryads, so escaping wouldn't be too much of an issue.
However, anger and humiliation pounded inside his head, driving it crazy. Those teenagers better pray for good luck, for the White Tiger had no plans to leave them alive if an opportunity cropped up.
As it indulged its thoughts of revenge, a shout reached his ears.
"Stop running, you cowardly tiger!" Alex shouted. "You call yourself a Lord of the Forest? More like Turd of the Forest!"
The strong impulse to attack the young man invaded the White Tiger's mind once again. It had no way of cleansing the taunt, but its sheer willpower stood strong and broke away from the young man's skill.
'Damn it!' Tigrath cursed as he continued to run away. 'I promise I'll kill you later!'
It sprinted as fast as its injury allowed and leveraged the trees as cover to shake off his pursuers.
