Ultimate Class is really built different. Even with all the strongest of humanity here barring the exclusion of our own Ultimate Class heroes. This devil is proving to us she really is an ancient powerhouse with how deftly she is attacking and defending against us.
At first she was taken by surprise by the power set of Gojo Satoru (I still can't believe that jujutsu kaisen was in this weird world) but she started fighting around him as she couldn't break through his infinity. She started slaughtering the rest of us.
To be going about my life unaware of what was around me. That any random stray devil or monster could have just killed me and they would have erased any memory of me. From my parents, friends even my girlfriend, Yana.
I am sure this is an anime world or it acts like one at least. I just don't know which since I wasn't an otaku. I just watched the really popular ones with my friend. Big mistake but how could I know.
I slipped an attack by a low class devil who were let through by the new god to add extra intensity to the war. It has become painfully obvious to us that we can't defeat the Leviathan descendant but we will try to contain her.
The devil started forming a magic circle but I quickly reinforced my self with magic and activated my technique, Glacier, which is probably Uraume's technique from the manga which gives me the ability to generate and control ice and cold temperatures. I already guess that the reversal will either have to do with fire or magma.
Thanks to this technique even my aura has the properties of ice. Thanks to the freedom of the technique I can even copy other frozen abilities from other mangas.
"Ice Pheasant!" in a second a huge ice pheasant formed and crashed through the devil tearing it apart.

Damn I've improved. I gained the foreigner skill recently from clearing a dungeon in Lviv by myself which got the attention of VOTW. It inspected my soul and generated the skill as an achievement for my valor.
I need a huge achievement so I can keep up with the likes of Gojo which means I need to leave this place and attack Diodora. Mid Class and High Class might be different but not insurmountable.
Sure I can slaughter more devils and get to High Class but I am sure I would get a hidden achievement if I did it while I was a class lower.
"Portal to Diodora."
A yellow portal appeared near me which I stepped through and came to a new battlefield where I saw bodies scattered, parts laying all over the floor, blood flowed freely in the streets and the scent of a mix of vomit,dirt, blood and sweat clung tightly to the air. It seems Diodora has been fighting and killing a lot of us. Sure he has cuts and has lost an eye but I can still see thousands dead and only a few hundred remain.
I quickly cast inspect on Diodora and immediately his head snapped towards my direction probably trying to find out who cast a spell on him.
I quickly read through his stats and started moving to find higher ground.

I saw the Church's exorcists firing guns of light energy at him forcing him to waste magic and block it. A chance is all I am waiting for. An act of carelessness as that is the only way to kill him. In one move.
One shot.
Thirty seconds past and the excorcists were throwing everything they could at him. Even other players have been keeping him busy.That time helps me calm down and make a decision. It's go big or go home.
I perform a binding vow. It's the only way I can see me damaging him enough.
"In exchange for not being able to use my cursed energy for a month in exchange for increased lethality, control and a permanent power increase to my technique effective immediately. The price starts after my next attack."
Immediately I felt some kind of metaphysical chain surround my soul and then I knew my price was enough. The inability to use my ability for a month. Leaving me vulnerable if I missed my next attack was accepted by the heavens.
My power spiked heavily. It feels like my skin is tearing itself apart. Cursed energy that was barely being contained. I could tell that for this my energy has been boosted to High Class levels and since this boost is permanent I have to grind my ass into High Class this next month if not my body won't be able to handle it's energy.
Luckily I will still have access to magic but Cursed Energy is very effective against all supernatural beings so it will be a pain in the ass but I can pull it off I guess.
I thought of shinsu from Tower of God. How powerful it was. How the rankers shaped it and finally I thought of Baam's thorn. Yes that will do nicely.
I called on my cursed energy and the speed and fluidity answered me surprised me slightly. If this is how High Class feels then Diodora must be a bum. Probably a young master type because of this is the minimum of how he feels then we should all be dead.
I formed a thorn behind me. Then another and another then I just kept creating more until I had formed twenty thorns. I then merged them all and left ten compressed thorns. My technique fine tuning and strengthening it to the max. This will be the strongest attack I can use currently. If this doesn't do it nothing will.
I kept watching Diodora as he battled excorcists who have thoroughly kept him at bay. He won't be able to destroy Boston in this last two minutes. We have already won and it shows as he was fighting more like a beserker as he hurried to destroy as many as he can but he was taking a lot of hits. In all this I waited until it came.
A chance.
A girl excorcist with a large sword that gave off a holy feeling stabbed him through his right leg and he screamed it complete agony. In his pain he left himself open and in that second I used every bit of cursed energy and used it to propel the thorns. They broke the sound barrier as they sped towards him and in that second I felt the chains tighten around my soul and I lost the ability to access my cursed energy for a month.
At least I can still control my mana so I am not out of options.
As Diodora came out of the pain and was attempting to pull the Holy Sword out of him the first Ice Thorn cut a hole in his chest. His shock hadn't even reached his face when another struck his throat and another went through his forehead and finally the others impaled him into the ground on his face shock was still prevalent as he didn't even know how he died.
The excorcists all fell to their knees in relief as they saw the filth devil fall amd die before their eyes. Not long after I received a notification from VOTW.

Damn. I suspected it based on the system and power systems but still having it confirmed is scary. This guy really became strong enough to be a god.
