The night had fallen again, thick and velvet, wrapping the estate in silence. But inside the bedroom, there was no such calm.
Kai sat perched on the edge of the vanity, legs swinging idly, wrapped in one of Adrian's black button-downs. It was far too big for him, the sleeves swallowing his hands, the collar slipping off one shoulder, revealing the fresh bite mark Adrian had left earlier. Red and raw. Claimed.
Adrian stood behind him, shirtless, eyes locked on their reflections in the mirror.
"You look like temptation incarnate," Adrian murmured, pressing a kiss to the nape of Kai's neck.
Kai smirked at the reflection, then tilted his head back to rest on Adrian's shoulder. "You're the devil in disguise, so I guess that makes us a match made in hell."
Adrian's hand slid under the hem of the shirt, fingertips skimming across bare thighs. "You love it."
Kai hummed. "I crave it."
Adrian grabbed his chin gently but firmly, forcing Kai to look himself in the eye in the mirror. "Say it," he whispered. "Say you're mine."
Kai's lips parted, but instead of answering, he turned in Adrian's grip, wrapping his arms around his neck and whispering against his lips, "I've always been yours, even when I didn't want to be."
That broke something in Adrian.
He lifted Kai like he weighed nothing, carried him to the bed, and laid him down like a treasure before devouring him like a man starved. Every kiss was reverent, but laced with desperation. Every thrust was deeper, slower, meant to be remembered, meant to be felt for days.
But this time… it was more than physical.
They were talking between gasps, muttering truths they'd never dared to speak before.
"I'm scared of what you make me feel," Kai admitted against Adrian's throat.
"Good," Adrian growled, teeth grazing Kai's jaw. "Because I'd burn the world for you."
Kai's fingers curled in Adrian's hair, tugging him back so their eyes met. "Then let it burn".
And it did.
