Chapter 24 - Chapter : 24 : Final Round : Shake the Heavens! : Part 13

Final Round : Shake the Heavens!

The cafeteria could barely contain the chaos.

Lights flickered. The temperature rose. And Mei-chan—no longer a mere class representative but now some kind of heavenly war goddess in magical girl mode—stood atop a table, the spotlight swirling around her, one hand on her hip, the other holding a sparkly mic that shouldn't even exist in reality.

Her cleavage defied gravity, her skirt barely clinging to the line between fabric and fan service. Every move she made caused her assets to jiggle with physics that absolutely should be banned by school rules—or perhaps the laws of the universe.

"Laaaaaadies and gentlemen!" she screamed with the might of a thousand anime narrators. "Welcome to the Ultimate Round! Round Twenty! The round to end all rounds! THE FINAL BATTLE!"

The crowd exploded. Phones were out. Some students were crying. Others had fainted. One unlucky soul whispered, "I can die now," as his friend tried to revive him with cafeteria milk.

Shin sat in the middle of it all, completely still—except for the adorable girl in his lap: Ai.

Her arms were wrapped around him tightly. Her long black hair cascaded down his shoulder. Her cheek pressed against his chest as she looked up at Mei-chan with wide, innocent eyes.

"Onii-chan…" she whispered. "I love you."

Sparkles. Literal sparkles bloomed around them like cherry blossoms in the wind. Their world seemed frozen in soft light.

Shin's expression softened into something breathtakingly gentle. He cupped the back of Ai's head, pulling her closer into his chest.

"I love you too, Ai," he whispered, his voice deep and calming.

The moment hit like a nuke.

Multiple audience members clutched their chests. The explosion of sparkles behind them lit up the whole stage. Mei-chan dramatically gasped and fell to her knees—though not before giving the crowd a healthy bounce of her magical girl bosom.

"NO ONE CAN ESCAPE THE SIBLING ZONE!" Mei wailed. "This is cheating! This is DOMINATION! This is… adorable!!"

Yuki, who had been visibly shaking, stepped forward.

His eyes locked with Aiko's.

"…Let's end this," Yuki said.

Aiko nodded. "Time to show him who really gets his heart racing, Taa-kun."

The floor trembled as Yuki and Aiko launched into a dramatic performance of epic proportions. Their bodies spun in synchronized motion. Clothes ripped from the sheer pressure. Chairs broke. The whiteboard flew off the wall. Shin's table cracked down the middle.

Yuki was glowing.

Aiko's hair whipped around her face as if she were charging power. Her top ripped just enough to make the crowd gasp—twice.

Together, they posed with a final boom of passion and sparkles.

Shin sat wide-eyed.

Ai clutched tighter to him, hiding her face in his chest.

"Onii-chan… it's too much…"

"I know," Shin whispered.

The air shifted.

It was subtle at first—barely noticeable. But as Mei-chan stepped into the center of the now half-destroyed stage, her body shimmered with magical light. Her outfit, somehow even more revealing than before, bounced with absurd physics. Her chest jiggled just by breathing. The skirt had no right being that short.

The boys in the audience had already stopped pretending they weren't watching for her. Phones were raised, hearts were racing, and more than a few were bleeding from the nose. Some whispered desperate prayers to God. Others just shouted, "I'm not missing school ever again!"

She spun, her chest bouncing again for absolutely no reason, arms stretched toward the crowd.

"Begin the Final Round: Battle for the Soul!—Make Him Choose!!"

Thunder cracked across the sky, even though they were still indoors. Logic had long since taken a back seat.

Suddenly—light burst out of them.

Yuki's hair glowed gold, his eyes fierce and glinting with power. His tiny frame radiated energy like a reactor going nuclear. "I… won't lose."

Beside him, Aiko's long hair whipped behind her, her stance strong. "Taa-kun is mine."

"Powering up!" Mei-chan screamed, her voice oddly echoing. "They've entered their final forms! Their school uniforms are struggling to survive, but their emotions are at MAX!"

Wind exploded outward from Yuki and Aiko, knocking back several audience members. Chairs flipped. Walls cracked.

Shin squinted from his seat, Ai clinging tighter to him, looking up with big eyes. "Onii-chan… I'm scared…"

He instantly wrapped his arms protectively around her, pulling her closer. "It's okay, Ai. I'm here."

Sparkles started falling around them like sakura petals. A scene so beautiful and radiant, it felt like the world paused just for them.

But on the battlefield—Yuki's shoes cracked beneath his feet. His arms flexed. His tiny frame looked nearly angelic in its glow.

Aiko stepped forward, wind swirling around her. "Let's finish this."

Yuki gave a single nod.

And then—they charged.

Their fists collided mid-air, shattering the ground beneath them.

The explosion of wind from their clash rattled windows, blew the doors open, and sent the audience into full-blown hysteria.

"IS THIS EVEN LEGAL?!" one boy in the crowd screamed, holding onto a bench for dear life.

"I CAN SEE THEIR COLLAR BONES!" another yelled, eyes wide and bleeding.

"I CAN SEE THE FUTURE," muttered someone in awe, staring at Mei-chan, who was now floating on some kind of magic orb, her body glittering and her chest bouncing as she turned dramatically with every line she screamed into the mic.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!" Mei-chan bellowed, flipping her hair as if on a fashion runway. "THEY'RE FIGHTING FOR LOVE, FOR PRIDE, FOR SHIN—WHO IS HOLDING HIS LITTLE SISTER LIKE A PROTECTIVE KNIGHT IN AN OTOME GAME!!"

Shin sat still in his chair, the only calm amidst the storm, arms wrapped tightly around Ai. She had tucked her face into his chest and wrapped her arms around his torso, trembling.

"Onii-chan," Ai said in a small voice, "they're destroying everything."

"I know," Shin said gently, placing a soft kiss on her cheek. "But I've got you."

Sparkles again. As if the universe bent to their softness.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield—

Yuki flipped backward, avoiding Aiko's sweeping kick. His school uniform had already torn along the sleeves from his aura bursting earlier, showing smooth skin and a soft, girlish frame that confused and captivated the entire front row of the audience.

"Too cute," someone whispered reverently. "Too powerful…"

"WHY ARE YOU IN A SCHOOL UNIFORM AND LOOKING THAT GOOD?!" another shouted.

Yuki didn't answer. He didn't need to.

He spun mid-air, landed light on one foot, and unleashed a wave of pink sparkles straight at Aiko.

Aiko crossed her arms in front of her, blocking with her forearms—her skirt flipping high as she skidded back from the blast.

"Tch… you've gotten better," she muttered, lips curled in a smirk.

"I only need to win once," Yuki said. "That's enough."

The crowd collectively gasped. One student in the back fainted. Someone else proposed to their crush in the confusion.

Aiko darted forward again, knee-first, aiming for Yuki's ribs.

Yuki leaned back, the attack grazing his pant, ripping it slightly, the tattered fabric fluttering as he backflipped and landed on a still-standing table. The table immediately cracked from the sheer pressure of his energy.

"I'll protect Taa-kun's smile!" Aiko shouted, launching a volley of sparkling punches that left literal hearts in the air behind her fists.

Yuki dodged all of them, each time barely, the hearts bursting on the ground with little "Pyon~!" sounds.

"They're seriously going all out!!" Mei-chan cried, twirling again on her floating orb. The entire cafeteria felt like a shounen battleground, crossed with magical girl anime, crossed with fanservice simulator.

"I CAN'T EVEN BLINK," one audience member cried.

"I'VE ALREADY LOST SEVERAL YEARS OF MY LIFE," another shouted joyfully.

Meanwhile, the battlefield burned with energy.

Yuki and Aiko clashed again—this time, not holding back.

Fist met fist.

Eyes locked.

The sky above cracked with lightning that shouldn't exist.

And Shin?

Shin only held Ai tighter, another kiss on her forehead. "It's okay. I'm here."

"I love you, Onii-chan…" she whispered, eyes full of adoration.

He smiled gently. "I know."

Sparkles. Petals. The world paused.
