Ryuji didn't want Zenitsu burdened by Nezuko's uncertain future—whether she would ever return to human form, and whether she would accept Zenitsu—were questions with no definitive answers.

Ryuji nodded and thanked Zenitsu.
Zenitsu then detailed his plan. Ryuji's role was simple: to gather people.
Given Ryuji's current standing, temporarily assembling Demon Slayer Corps members should be feasible.
These members wouldn't be those on active duty at the front lines, but rather those from the Hidden Division stationed at headquarters.
Besides the Hidden Division and injured front-line members, few others resided at headquarters. Front-line members like Tanjiro couldn't stay at headquarters unless absolutely necessary.
Even without missions, they found lodging elsewhere, not returning to headquarters.
Tanjiro's situation was unique; he was Rengoku Kyojuro's adopted son and a member of the Zan'getsu Squad, allowing him to stay at headquarters if he wished. Kyōjurō and the others could also return to headquarters when not on missions, as dedicated accommodations had been provided.

Ryuji informed Shinobu of Zenitsu's request, enlisting her help.
With Shinobu's assistance, the process went smoothly. Soon, almost all members of the Demon Slayer Corps, excluding the Wind Hashira, Stone Hashira, Mist Hashira, Snake Hashira, and Sound Hashira, agreed to help Zenitsu. Giyu Tomioka (Water Hashira), Rengoku Kyojuro (Flame Hashira), Mitsuri Kanroji (Love Hashira), and Shinobu Kocho (Insect Hashira) all readily participated.
Regarding Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the Demon Slayer Corps' master, Ryuji chose not to disturb him, knowing from Hinaki that his health was fragile.
