Alanna hesitated to take his hands suddenly as she remembered how she's being led by a young man who only became old enough to attend the academy recently. It was a terrifying realisation that made her confused as to why she was being led by him willingly.

They both entered the Ceremony hall walking at the same pace. Jamie couldn't hide his happiness even though he tried hard. So Alanna was also smiling looking at his eyes that is gleaming with joy.
She covered her mouth with her left hand laughing softly,
'What is he so happy about? Is it because of me? Maybe he still thinks I'm a student?' a faint blush crept up to her cheeks as she thought of many reasons.
When the two entered the hall walking together many were surprised, especially his parents. Not because they came came together, But because how good they look together.
There's no need to talk about their beauty, But them walking together, Jamie holding Alanna's hand elegantly. They look like a perfect couple, Meant to be together. That's the thought everyone had on their mind as they watched Both Jamie and Alanna walked among the nobles.
'As I thought, It's embarrassing when everyone's looking at me like that.' Alanna though inwardly as she maintained her composure even though she's embarrassed.
Jamie stopped walking when he was closer to his parents who are looking at him widening their eyes in surprise.
"Deputy Headmistress, Thank you for letting me accompany you." He smiled as he looked at Alanna with a smile on his face.
"I thought you didn't knew who I was?" Alanna was a little bit surprised when he spoke to her addressing her position.
"Well, I remembered on the way that the deputy headmistress of the academy is also named Alanna. I figured It was you since everyone looked at us in surprise on our way here." Jamie said to her letting her hand go free and lifting his hands up slightly in a guilty manner.
"haah, I was going to surprise you when I go to the stage for my speech though" Alanna shook her head sighing in disappointment.
"You should go Everyone's waiting." Jamie said to her while looking around.
"Well, I hope you'll do a good job when you're at the academy. I expect great things from you Jamie. I hope you'll work hard" Alanna said to him while walking away slowly as she looked at him one last time and turned around approaching the stage reserved for her welcoming speech.
Jamie also went to stand beside his parents as they looked at him weirdly.
"What?" he tilted his head looking at Amanda.
"You know,... I thought I saw two angels for a second there when the both of you walked inside together." She smiled teasing Jamie.
"That is true. I was really caught off guard by that you know." Rufus shook his head laughing in disbelief.
"Everyone in the hall must've thought the same thing as we did. So my dear son, How did you end up accompanying the Deputy Headmistress hmm?" Amanda put her elbow on the armrest as she placed her chin on her palm, questioning Jamie.
"I saw you go around charming every girl in the hall and then suddenly you were nowhere to be seen. Now you came back with Alanna, Did you charm her too hmm?" Amanda continuously asked him questions enjoying the situation.
But not everyone's enjoying the situation, Many nobles in the hall especially Dukes and many boys attending the academy this time were irritated how Jamie's stealing the attention every time he does something.
