'Should i greet her or should I act like I don't know her?' Jamie was thinking of how to approach her in a way that would impress her in his mind quickly.
"You seems to be lost in your thoughts." Alanna spoke breaking the silence.
Alanna was on her way to address the Dukes and the important people waiting at the hall today for the entrance ceremony, But she sensed Jamie staring at the flowers lost in thought.
She also liked these flowers, In fact she has the same trees planted in her garden. She likes spending time sitting down beside these trees watching how those pink petals floating away because of the wind, It brings peace to her mind.
She also quickly recognised who Jamie was because of how handsome and charming he was, Even Alanna was charmed for a moment because of his looks. So she realised that he was Jamie Walker, the most famous person on the continent right now blessed heavily with both talent and looks way compared to others.
Alanna was curious about him so she approached him for a small talk before the ceremony starts.
"Well, yes. I was really lost in this beautiful scene. It made me my heart calm down and my mind was really peaceful without all those noises in that hall." Jamie spoke with light smile on his face looking straight at her eyes.
"It really does calm you down. I also like these trees, I sometimes spent a long time just staring at how those flower petals are just floating away, being carried by the wind." Alanna said.
Jamie was flustered on the inside even though he didn't show it in his face. Alanna was truly beautiful, when she speaks in that soft voice with that beautiful smile on her face, Jamie was captivated immediately by all her small actions.
"But what do you mean all the noise? Is it too loud inside the hall?" she asked looking at him.
"Exactly....oh! I'm sorry for not introducing myself earlier. I'm Jamie" He bowed his head lightly in elegant manner greeting her.
Alanna smiled as she pulled up the hem of her gown and bowed her head also, before she spoke.
"I'm Alanna" She smiled looking at him.
"Are you also a student?" Jamie acted ignorant, pretending to not know her.
Alanna raised her eyebrows in surprise at his actions because she thought he would definitely know about the Deputy Headmistress of the academy he would be attending in a while.
She laughed lightly covering her mouth.
'Fuck, she's beautiful. Is she really not doing those cute acts consciously' Jamie thought looking at her.
"I'm not a student though, why did you think I'm a student?" she asked from Jamie tilting her head with a smile.
"Well, what else can I guess when I see such a beautiful lady." He took her hand and placed a soft kiss on it in a noble way making Alanna blush slightly. It was bold move he contemplated a lot on.
'he sure knows how to charm a woman huh?' she thought in surprise.
"Well I'm not a student and you'll get to know me in a moment." she said to him with a more soft expression on her face. But Jamie could see the faint blush on her face.
'Well, At least I made a good impression.' He though to himself inwardly.
"If you're Jamie, then perhaps are you Jamie Walker son of Duke Walker?" Alanna asked In a curious manner.
"Well....would you be disappointed If I'm not?" Jamie smiled at her charmingly as he moved his head a bit closer to her face.
Alanna maintained her composure and spoke,
"Not really. I don't really care about all those Dukes and Grand Dukes, All I want is to...." she seemed to be thinking somethings and she didn't finished her sentence.
"If you can say those things in front them, Maybe I'll give you a reward for your courage." Jamie said walking forward to catch a pink petal floating toward him.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you but I'm not as brave as you think" Alanna said with a smile looking at his back.
Jamie looked back at her and he suddenly walked toward her making Alanna startled slightly.
Jamie stopped right in front of her looking right into her blue eyes. Even though Jamie is still young and growing he's still a bit taller than her.
Alanna was also staring back at his golden eyes lost in the moment for a while before being confused as to why he's staring at her like that.
"What are you doing?" she asked looking at him with a faint blush because of how close he is and because she feel so attracted to him when he's this close.
'What's wrong with me? He's just a child. I shouldn't be feeling like this.' Alanna had many thoughts in her mind as she tried to walk backward.
But Jamie suddenly raised his hand and reached out toward her head startling her.
'what is he trying to do now?' she thought.
"I just wanted to get this out of your hair" Jamie spoke softly picking a flower petal that was strangled on her hair.
Alanna's heart started beating rapidly at his charming moves, Her face all red. She saw Jamie smiling, looking straight at her and with that face of his, He looked so attractive to her.
"Thank you." She hurriedly spoke as she looked away to hide her blushing face in embarrassment.
"You're welcome" Jamie said, clearly enjoying her actions.
"You should go inside the hall, It's going to be a important time now" Alanna spoke after she quickly composed herself, as expected of a Grandmaster who lived for many years.
"Then... would you like to go together?" Jamie reached out his hand for her, inviting her to take it.
It's like a gesture when someone asks for a lady's hand to escort them into a important ceremony or for a dance.
Alanna smiled inwardly as she also reached out her hand to accept him.
Jamie laughed in a devilish manner inwardly praising himself for his hard earned victory.
'Acting tough in front of a Grandmaster Is really not easy, I should be nominated for the Best Actor in the Oscars for this.' He thought to himself laughing.
