Chapter 83 - Chapter 83 – Crimson Strategy – Part II

The light devoured the battlefield.

The Crystal Phoenix Piercing Attack exploded forward like a judgment cast by the heavens. It tore through the haze, slicing apart the spiritual air and leaving a wake of molten fury. The cry of the phoenix wasn't sound—it was pressure, a soul-piercing scream that demanded surrender.

And Li Wei—broken, bloodied, barely standing—smiled.

[Final FormRide: Blade.]

The card flashed.

A burst of silver-blue energy surged from the Diendriver as he shot the card forward. The summoned Rider—Kamen Rider Blade—morphed mid-charge, his body distorting into a massive, glowing sword with a jagged crystalline edge. The sword hurtled back to Li Wei like a loyal companion answering a call.

He caught it with both hands.

His arms trembled.

The weapon was heavy—far heavier than steel or soul-forged blade. It was history, legacy, and willpower incarnate. Its jagged edge pulsed with energy, crackling blue lightning trailing down its form.

"This ends now!" Li Wei roared.

He activated one last BuffRide.

[BuffRide: Zero-One!]

His body surged with tactical clarity, every nerve tuned to the optimal outcome. The battlefield slowed around him.

Goksumr crystal spear closed in, an unstoppable sunbeam of annihilation. The pressure was unbearable—walls shattering, ground melting, summoned Riders dissolving in waves of burning brilliance.

But Li Wei stepped forward.

His eyes burned with resolve. Time had slowed to a crawl in his perception. His soul power throbbed, dangerously low—but just enough.

He leapt.

The Blade Sword in hand, his feet struck a jagged shard of crystal mid-air. He pushed off it like a platform, spiraling toward the incoming phoenix spear.

His body blurred. Wind tore at his coat. Blood flew from reopened wounds. Every breath felt like knives in his lungs.

But he kept moving.

"LIGHTNING—"

He brought the sword down.

"—SLASH!"

Sword met phoenix.

The world ruptured.

A wave of light burst out from the collision point, annihilating everything within thirty meters. Crystal ground shattered, splitting like cracked glass. The sealed arena groaned as spiritual feedback ruptured its interior dome. Amber energy boiled, arcs of lightning crisscrossing the dome's interior.

Goksumr attack faltered, the massive phoenix spear breaking down mid-flight, its outer layers shattering into spectral fragments that screamed like lost spirits.

And through it—

Li Wei blade cleaved.

The sword bit through the core of the attack and continued forward, straight into Goksumr's torso.

SLASH!

Golden armor cracked. Blood—not red, but gold-tinged—splattered across the ground as Goksumr stumbled back. His wings spasmed, chakra glyphs flashing erratically across his chestplate.

He let out a strangled cry, more fury than pain.

"You…!" he hissed. "How dare you touch the divine construct!"

Li Wei didn't answer. He couldn't. He collapsed to one knee, gasping, the Blade Sword dissipating in motes of blue light. His soul power was spent. His Diendriver steamed at the vents. His vision faded at the edges, grayed like ash.

But he was alive.

And he'd landed a blow.

Goksumr staggered back, wings trembling. His right hand clutched at the gash across his abdomen—deep, sparking with unstable spirit energy. The lines across his chestplate pulsed erratically. The flawless rhythm of his attacks was disrupted.

Just because of his higher realm, he look down on Li Wei and thinking that he will be able to kill Li Wei easily. Never thought that because of that he been caught off guard.

The battlefield had shifted.

"Impossible…" Goksumr muttered. "You were meant to be crushed. An error. A mutation. You don't belong here!"

Li Wei forced himself upright, leaning on his knee. "Then… let me show you what… an error can do."

Goksumr's glare intensified. "I'll erase you completely."

His wings spread wide, generating a dome of light as hundreds of chakra emblems lit up across his armor.

"Crystal Expanse: World Reversal."

The atmosphere twisted.

The sky inside the dome fractured like glass, and everything within became inverted. Up became down, light became shadow, and time itself began to warp. It was a domain ability—Goksumr last card combining with Shinobi Ridewatch.

Li Wei felt the shift instantly. Gravity flipped, pressing him upward. His breath caught. Even his vision blurred, unable to adjust to the new inverted world.

Goksumr floated above, golden wings spread like a sovereign god. "This is a world that conforms to me. Your will has no place here."

The dome pulsed.

Li Wei tried to move but found his limbs lagging behind his intent. Delay—a mental deceleration field. His thoughts remained sharp, but his body was trapped in lagging inertia.

'Damn it… he's turned the battlefield into his own mindscape…'

Goksumr raised a hand. Energy gathered—a nova of gold and amber, coalescing into a sphere above his palm.

"Return to oblivion."

Li Wei reached into his coat. He didn't need to think. His fingers found the card and insert into Diendriver.

[Final FormRide: Faiz.]

He shot it.

From the shimmer came a crimson burst. Faiz transformed—his body splitting and reshaping into a sleek, high-frequency photon blaster rifle. The gun floated into Li Wei hand.

Li Wei grit his teeth. "If I can't move… then I'll shoot."

He aimed upward, despite the inverted gravity trying to pull him into the sky. His arm quivered, the Faiz Blaster humming with violent potential.

Goksumr didn't flinch. "A toy."

The energy orb above him had become a miniature sun.

Li Wei pulled the trigger.

Photon Break.

The beam of red-light energy shot out like a railgun, piercing the distorted sky.

It struck the orb—then drilled through it.

Goksumr's eyes widened. The energy destabilized. The sun-like construct began to tremble, then collapse.

Li Wei wasn't done. He shoved another card in.

[BuffRide: Kabuto!]

"Clock Up!" he rasped.

Time bent.

Inside Goksumr domain, it was suicidal to try Clock Up. The time fields clashed, creating rips in the air.

But Li Wei was beyond careful.

He blinked forward, each step warping space.

In seconds, he was right in front of Goksumr.

Blade gauntlet in hand, he slashed.

Once.

Twice.

Three times.

The final slash drew blood again—this time across Goksumr face.

The golden warrior howled, pushing Li Wei back with a wing-thrust of force.

But the damage was done.

His domain wavered.

Cracks appeared in the sky. The inverted world flickered.

Goksumr chakra lines sputtered.

"You… are persistent," he spat, panting. "But I am an Envoy of the Veil! I command fate!"

"No," Li Wei answered, limping forward. "You command a cage. I fight to break it."

He held up his last card.

[Final AttackRide: Diend!]

The Diendriver pulsed. As a shadow of Kamen Rider Build can be seen hold his hand toward the DienDriver.

A ring of nine Rider silhouettes formed in the air behind him, each holding a ranged weapon—Drive, Zero-One, Build, Ex-Aid, Den-O, Faiz, W, Kabuto, and Diend himself.

All took aim.

"All Riders… Final Strike!"

"Dimension Shoot."

Nine beams of multi-colored energy merged into a single lance of light.

It blasted forward like a meteor.

Goksumr tried to raise a barrier. His wings formed a dome.

But the shot pierced it.

The explosion was silent.

A brilliant white light swallowed the battlefield.

When the light faded, the dome was gone.

Outside, Crocodile Douluo staggered as the field shattered. Golden fragments rained down like stardust. He rushed forward.

Inside, the ground was scorched. Smoke curled upward. Crystals lay shattered.

And in the center—

Li Wei stood, shaking, the Diendriver still raised. His knees gave out seconds later, and he collapsed.

Goksumr lay several meters away, looking toward Li Wei as his body begin to disperse into ash. He look toward where Li Wei stand -no toward the place where Build figure emerge before. "Damn you Build! Even in dead you still a nuisance!" He then disperse into ash.

Crocodile Douluo was at Li Wei's side in moments.

"You idiot," the old man whispered, lifting him. "You actually won."

Li Wei eyes fluttered open for a moment.

"I told you, Grandpa," he said, voice weak. "I'm not... a fracture. I'm the rewrite."

Then darkness claimed him.

Outside the shattered battlefield, the wind returned. The air smelled of trees again. The golden dome was no more.

And a lone feather—made of crystal—drifted down like a dying ember, fading into nothing as it touched the earth.
