~AMBROSE'S POV~
"What did you say? Say it a little louder so the rest of the room can hear." Alpha Andres grinned but posture said something different. It was a challenge.
"I'll do you one better." She said rising from my seat at the table and strutted over to him. Moving with the grace of a goddess and the strength and confidence of a warrior. Her power felt heavy in the room, it could easily be mistaken for mine with how much weight it carried. It was strong the first time I felt it, but it seems to have gotten even stronger.
All eyes were on her as she strolled over to Alpha Andres. The way her hips swung instantly made my wolf jealous and start grumbling inside.
She leaned over his chair getting close to his face. Too close.
And smiled softly. Too softly.
I didn't like it.
And neither did Onyx.
The closer she got, the more he paced.
Her lips hovered just above his.
I could smell his arousal; he was enjoying her defiance. Her attention.
