~ODETTE'S POV~
This bitch again. You've got to be kidding me. She recognized me immediately and her nostrils flared with anger.
She looked about as happy to me as I was to see her.
I wanted to smack that prissy, privileged look right off her face.
Gouge her eyes out for looking at Ambrose like that.
And to top it all off, right off rips she was offering me to this dog at the table like I was scraps off her own plate.
I was trying hard to hold my tongue. I was biting down so hard, my jaw started to ache. The words were burning in my throat, threatening to rage out and burn her alive. Each question and answer pushing me closer and closer to the edge of control.
And when the little mutt asked if I was single and answered yes, I lost it. I snapped. I had a fiancé and now a fated mate. I was the opposite of single.
She crossed the line. And now she'll find out how I really feel.
