Chapter 102 - The unraveling mystery

The Heroes' Suspicion

The hall remained silent, but the air was charged with tension. The golden glyphs of Cleopatra's ability slowly faded, yet the unease in the room did not.

Ravihiro sat unmoved, his expression unreadable. He had denied his identity, yet the Lightning of Truth had exposed him.

Rudra crossed his arms, staring directly at him. "You can't fool me anymore."

The heroes around them exchanged uneasy glances.

Danny, avatar of Michael, leaned forward. "If the Lightning of Truth exposed him, does that mean he's hiding something even greater?"

Cleopatra, who had always been confident in her abilities, tightened her grip on her staff. She refused to believe that someone could resist divine judgment.

"This isn't normal," she muttered. "No human should be able to take multiple strikes of divine lightning and not even flinch."

Sung Jin, the Korean hero and avatar of Hwanung, tapped his fingers on the table. "We need to know exactly who and what he is."

Rudra's Determination

Rudra exhaled sharply, his mind racing.

He knew. He knew that Ravihiro was his brother. But if Ravihiro was hiding his identity, there had to be a reason.

"Why are you hiding, brother?" Rudra finally asked, his voice lower but filled with emotion.

Ravihiro remained silent.

For the first time since the meeting started, a flicker of something passed through his eyes. But it was gone in an instant.

"You're mistaken." His voice was calm, but it held an edge of finality.

Rudra clenched his fists, his body trembling with frustration. "Then explain why the Lightning of Truth struck you when you denied being my brother."

Ravihiro looked away, his jaw tightening.

The heroes leaned forward, waiting for an answer.

But Ravihiro gave none.

Pressure from the Heroes

Wong Lie, the Japanese hero and avatar of Tsukuyomi, finally spoke.

"If he isn't telling the truth about his identity, then how can we trust anything else he says?"

Cheng Xuan, the Chinese hero and avatar of Lei Gong, the Thunder God, nodded. "We gathered here to unite against the threat to Earth. But how can we work with someone who refuses to be honest about who he is?"

The pressure in the room shifted.

The heroes, once in awe of Ravihiro, were now skeptical.

Sky Demon Sect's Intervention

Before the tension could escalate, a deep chuckle echoed through the hall.

"Hahaha, what a dramatic bunch."

Everyone turned to see the Sky Demon Sect leader, Rumina's father, grinning with amusement.

"You young ones are so impatient." He sipped from his jade cup, completely unbothered by the tension.

"If my sect member says he is not your brother, then perhaps you should believe him and we come here for important things so let's get to point in serious tone."

Rudra snapped his head toward him. Sect member?

Rumina smirked. "Father, don't tease him so much. He's already stressed."

Rudra's face darkened. "What do you mean?"

Rumina leaned toward Ravihiro, resting her head on his shoulder. "You know what it means, little brother."

The sudden shift in conversation made even the heroes pause.

Cleopatra blinked. "Hold on… you mean to tell us this powerful, mysterious man, come under a organisation?"

Danny burst out laughing. "Now that's unexpected."

Sung Jin shook his head, smirking. "And here I thought he was just a lone warrior."

Ravihiro sighed, clearly annoyed.

Rudra rubbed his temples. "This… is too much to take in."

The Mystery Deepens

As the laughter died down, the room once again returned to seriousness.

Rudra's voice softened, but his determination remained.

"No matter what you say, I know the truth." His eyes locked onto Ravihiro. "I will find out why you're hiding. And when I do, you won't be able to run anymore."

Ravihiro remained silent.

But deep inside, he knew—

His past was catching up to him.

And there was no escaping it anymore.
