Chapter 99 - A Silent Pursuit

Ravihiro and his team moved through the dimly lit streets, blending into the shadows of the night. The sounds of the city surrounded them—vehicles honking, distant voices, the rhythmic hum of civilization—but amidst it all, Ravihiro felt something... off.

His instincts, honed through years of cultivation and battle, screamed at him.

"We're being followed."

He didn't turn around, but he subtly tapped his fingers against his thigh—a silent signal to Rumina, Haruno, Huo Tang, and Kalki. They immediately understood, their movements shifting slightly, prepared for confrontation.

Through the reflections in the glass windows of the shops they passed, Ravihiro caught glimpses of several figures, keeping a precise distance. Their movements were calculated—definitely not ordinary civilians.

With a sharp turn, Ravihiro suddenly led his team into an alleyway. Without a word, they vanished into the darkness.

The pursuers hesitated but eventually followed.

Just as they stepped inside—

BOOM!

A sudden burst of spiritual energy erupted from Ravihiro's position, and before they could react, he was already behind them.

"If you're going to stalk me, at least be less obvious."

His voice was cold, sharp, filled with a dangerous edge. His Ryugan eyes gleamed in the dim light, casting an eerie glow.

The pursuers flinched, some stumbling back in fear.

One of them, the leader, immediately raised his hands in surrender.

"W-Wait! We mean no harm!"

Rumina, standing beside Ravihiro, smirked. "Then why were you following us? Just felt like sightseeing?"

The leader swallowed nervously. "We're from the Global Hero Organization. We have a message for you."

Ravihiro narrowed his eyes. "And that would be?"

The man took a deep breath before speaking.

"We're holding a meeting of the world's strongest heroes, and we want you to attend. We tracked you through a special device that detects unique energy signatures. Yours... is unlike anything we've ever seen."

A tense silence followed.

Haruno raised an eyebrow. "So, you guys just hunt down powerful people and invite them to your little club?"

The leader shook his head. "No, this is different. The world is changing. Threats are emerging that we can't face alone. If we don't act soon, everything could fall apart."

Ravihiro remained silent for a moment. Then, he spoke.

"Where and when?"

The leader sighed in relief, handing over a holographic invitation.

"The meeting will take place at Asura Prim, a secret fortress located in the Himalayan Plateau, at the heart of Asia. The world's greatest warriors, leaders, and heroes will be there."

Ravihiro glanced at the invitation before slipping it into his robes.

"Fine. I'll be there."

The agents bowed slightly before disappearing into the night.

As they left, Rumina nudged Ravihiro. "So, husband, you're officially a 'hero' now?"

Ravihiro scoffed. "Hardly."

With that, the team headed back to the Sky Demon Sect's hidden ship, preparing for the upcoming meeting.

The Meeting at Asura Prime

The next day, Asura Prime, the fortified headquarters of the Global Hero Organization, was buzzing with activity. Located deep within the Himalayas, the massive structure was hidden from the outside world, surrounded by towering icy peaks and high-tech security measures.

The Sky Demon Sect's ship descended from the clouds, cloaked under layers of illusionary barriers. As it landed, Ravihiro and his team stepped onto the icy ground, immediately greeted by a swarm of reporters.

"Ravihiro! Are you really a warrior from another realm?"

"Rumina, how strong is the Sky Demon Sect compared to Earth's heroes?"

"Who are you guys?"

"

The team ignored most of the questions, but Kalki, being young and impulsive, grinned. "I think I could beat all your so-called heroes if I wanted to!"

Huo Tang immediately pulled him back, sighing. "We didn't come here to cause trouble."

Meanwhile, Ravihiro, still silent, felt an unusual presence among the crowd.

A mysterious figure, wearing a silver mask, had just entered the meeting hall. Their energy was strange, different from the rest. Ravihiro subtly activated his Ryugan, trying to analyze them—but as soon as he did, the masked figure vanished into the hall.

"Interesting," Ravihiro murmured to himself.

Rumina, noticing his reaction, smirked. "Something caught your attention, dear?"

Ravihiro gave a small, unreadable smile. "Just a mystery waiting to be solved."

With that, the massive doors of Asura Prime opened, and Ravihiro and his team stepped inside, ready to face whatever awaited them within.
