Exploring the Streets
The ship of the Sky Demon Sect had silently docked somewhere in the dense fog of the sky above Earth, blending with the clouds as they remained hidden from prying eyes. Below, the world was still in chaos, but Ravihiro and his team decided to explore the Earth—specifically, the streets near Ravihiro's former home in India. It had been some time since he'd seen it, and even though it was now foreign to him, there was a lingering connection.
Ravihiro, Rumina, Haruno, Huo Tang, Kalki, and Samael walked the streets, their eyes wide with curiosity.
The sun was setting. The streets buzzed with life, people walking by, vendors selling their wares, and children laughing in the background. Haruno, still adjusting to Earth's sights, grabbed a cotton candy from a street vendor with childlike glee, her eyes sparkling.
"What is this, Huo? It's sweet!" she exclaimed, her voice high-pitched and innocent.
Huo Tang gave a faint chuckle. "It's sugar, Haruno. I wouldn't recommend too much of it."
Haruno ignored him, already digging in.
Rumina, always the curious one, was inspecting the clothes and accessories at one of the local stalls, trying to pick out something that would make Ravihiro's heart race. She winked at him as she held up a bright orange scarf.
"What do you think, husband? Maybe this would look nice on me?"
Ravihiro, who was still silent as ever, ignored her completely. Instead, his mind was elsewhere, looking at the streets, the old buildings, and the sights that once felt like home.
The light of the setting sun cast long shadows, and the warmth of Earth's evening breeze carried memories he thought he had buried. His thoughts were interrupted when he spotted a familiar street corner—the one he grew up near, just a few meters away from his old home.
As they walked closer, Ravihiro's mind raced. Memories of Rudra, his parents, and the life he left behind flooded his mind. He quickly shut it down, refusing to acknowledge those emotions.
Kalki, running ahead, was chasing after a group of stray children who had started playing a makeshift game of cricket.
"Let me join! I can play!" he cried.
Kalki, with his natural energy, quickly joined the game, scattering the kids in all directions with his overpowered movements. The kids were amazed at his sudden display of strength, and Kalki stood proudly with his little bat.
The moment felt so normal. So simple.
Haruno, still munching on her cotton candy, leaned closer to Ravihiro. "Does this feel like home, dear husband?"
Ravihiro didn't answer immediately, his gaze still focused on the old streets.
"What home."
"It's not my home I never came here " saying nervously
Rumina, overhearing the conversation, wrapped her arm around Ravihiro's waist, leaning in provocatively. "Now that I'm with you, this is your new home, right?"
Ravihiro shot her a side glance.
"I dont know yet."
Rumina chuckled. "Such a charming husband."
But the mood was abruptly shifted when Kalki accidentally knocked over a street vendor's cart, sending fruits, vegetables, and sweets flying everywhere. Kalki froze, eyes wide.
"Oops."
The vendor, clearly angry, yelled at the child. But Kalki was already apologizing with a grinning face, trying to help collect the items.
Ravihiro sighed, rubbing his temples.
"Kalki, did you break it?"
Haruno rushed over to help, already trying to apologize to the vendor and fix the mess.
"Don't worry. I'll pay for it."
Huo Tang, realizing that their time here was drawing too much attention, motioned for the group to move on.
As they continued walking, the night sky began to settle in, and the streets dimmed with lights from lamps flickering on. The air was still warm, but the atmosphere shifted. The team eventually found a park bench, and they sat together, looking up at the stars that pierced through the evening sky.
A Familiar Presence
After a few minutes of silence, just when the peaceful moment felt complete, a dog suddenly appeared from the shadows. It wasn't just any dog—it was a familiar roadwheeler with big, soulful eyes that seemed to recognize Ravihiro instantly. The dog approached him cautiously but with a sense of familiarity, as if drawn to him.
The dog sniffed the air and sat near Ravihiro's feet, whining softly.
Ravihiro froze. His expression changed.
"Why is this dog... familiar?"
Rumina looked at Ravihiro. "What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."
Ravihiro crouched down, staring into the dog's eyes. He could feel something stirring inside him—something from his past life on Earth.
He whispered, "Jimmy?"
The dog wagged its tail furiously and licked his hand.
Ravihiro's mind raced. Jimmy—his pet dog from Earth. The one who had always been by his side during his lonely childhood. But how was he here? Why was she on Earth when Ravihiro had left long ago?(Talking in mind)
He reached down, rubbing the dog's head.
"Good girl. Sit down."
The dog complied instantly, as if it had never forgotten its master.
Just then, a voice rang out from behind them.
"Jimmy! Where are you?!"
Ravihiro froze. He knew that voice.
It was Rudra.
The voice grew louder, and soon enough, Ravihiro saw his younger brother step into view, walking briskly toward them.
"Jimmy? Where are you? Come on,!"
Ravihiro stood up, his eyes narrowing. The sudden realization hit him like a cold wave. Rudra shouldn't have been here. But he was.
And Jimmy was here, too.
Ravihiro turned quickly, his back to Rudra, trying to hide his identity. He couldn't let Rudra know who he really was—not yet, not until he could figure out how all of this worked.
Rudra stopped in his tracks, looking confused.
"Who are you?"
Ravihiro lowered his head slightly, his voice steady. "I think you've got the wrong person."
Rudra blinked. "No, no, I'm sure... wait. Wait a minute."
He walked closer, his eyes scanning Ravihiro. "You look like someone I know..."
Ravihiro stepped back. "I'm just a traveler."
Rudra's eyes sharpened. "I—no. I know you."
Ravihiro had already moved away, but Rudra tried to take a step forward.
"Wait! Where are you going?"
Ravihiro turned, his voice colder now.
"I don't know who you're talking about."
And before Rudra could stop him, Ravihiro turned and walked away.
His team—Rumina, Haruno, and Huo Tang—watched in stunned silence as Ravihiro disappeared into the night.
Rudra stood there for a moment, his confusion deepening. "That... was him, wasn't it?"
But Ravihiro, already far from sight, couldn't allow his past to catch up with him—not yet.
The mystery remained—who was the man he had just met?
