Atalanta didn't hesitate and fired multiple arrows infused with Divine Energy, which she could wield thanks to her Divine Spirit Possession.
"I must admit, this power would have been lethal to me in the past. It could've taken me a thousand years to return to life," said Kojou as he dodged the arrows effortlessly. "But unfortunately, Divine Energy can no longer kill me... because I too can now wield Divine Energy."
As he spoke, Kojou released his own Divine Energy—a power far greater than Atalanta's, whose strength was merely borrowed from Artemis.
Even though Atalanta was a Cat Spirit, she shouldn't be able to borrow much Divine Energy from Artemis. In contrast, Kojou had slain Heretic Gods and claimed not only their power but also their Divine Energy.
"For the foolish bravery you just showed, I'll let you witness a glimpse of my true power," said Kojou with a smile as the atmosphere around him began to shift.
Thanks to his Spiritual Sight, Kojou could clearly see how much Atalanta was risking by using Divine Spirit Possession, especially since she was gambling with the loss of her ego—a price not many could afford.
As he spoke, a vast demonic aura began to wrap around Kojou. After killing Lucifer, he had gained complete control over Divine-Demonic Power, able to wield both conflicting forces in his body as naturally as breathing—without suffering any backlash.
"Hellblaze..." murmured Kojou indifferently as he released a small black flame, no larger than a thumb, toward Atalanta's next attack.
Atalanta was gathering all the Divine Energy she could into a single attack. She had decided to destroy the entire area to eliminate Kojou, knowing that releasing multiple small arrows would simply waste her energy, as Kojou could easily dodge them.
Though Kojou's attack seemed small and slow, anyone with true insight would realize how terrifying it really was—it burned through everything in its path, from air to space to even light itself.
Everything in existence was being consumed by that small, seemingly insignificant black flame.

After forging a single arrow from all her Divine Energy, Atalanta didn't hesitate to release her drawn bowstring, launching the divine arrow toward Kojou at an incredible speed.
"Senpai!!" — Seeing the terrifying attack heading for Kojou, Touka didn't hesitate to throw herself in front of him, ready to give her life. After all, her life already belonged to Kojou ever since he saved her during the battle with Rudolf Eustach.
Had Kojou not been there to save her, Touka was certain she would've died under the old man's battle axe. That's why she didn't hesitate to sacrifice herself for him.
"No need to worry, Touka," said Kojou with a calm smile, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her close. "Watch closely... I'm far stronger than you think."
"S-senpai..." Touka could only blush as Kojou embraced her so intimately, feeling like her heart might explode. But what shocked her even more was what happened when the golden arrow clashed with the small black flame Kojou had unleashed.
The moment the golden arrow touched the black flame, it didn't pass through it easily as Touka had expected. Instead, the black flame devoured the golden arrow—growing larger in the process.
In mere moments, the flame consumed the divine arrow entirely, expanding from the size of a thumb to the size of a fist. The golden arrow had vanished completely.

After exhausting every ounce of her Divine Energy, Atalanta regained consciousness—only to witness her ultimate attack wiped out so easily. She collapsed to the ground in shock, unable to believe her own eyes.
"I think that's enough to show you the gap in our strength, Neko-chan," said Kojou with a smile as the black flame shot back toward him in an instant. He caught it in his hand, where it vanished.
"Looks like I was just a clown in your eyes when I boasted about defeating you," said Atalanta with a hollow laugh. The difference in power had clearly shattered her confidence. "Do whatever you want—kill me, humiliate me—I won't resist. There's no point in living now. Once the Western Church hears I failed my mission, they'll get rid of me anyway."
"No need to worry. I won't kill you," Kojou shook his head simply, releasing Touka's waist and walking toward Atalanta. "But don't think attacking me will go unpunished."
"Absolute Cancel..." — Kojou murmured as he placed a finger on Atalanta's forehead, causing a set of magical chains to break.
"Chains of slavery... they're gone," muttered Atalanta in disbelief as she felt the magical restraints placed on her by the Western Church vanish completely.
"Though I won't kill you, from now on... you'll be my cat," said Kojou with a smile. He had wanted a cat for a long time, but pets were not allowed in his apartment. The mere thought of Atalanta in cat ears and a maid outfit made him shiver with anticipation.

Before Atalanta could even process what was happening, a powerful explosion erupted from the center of the island, triggering a quake that shook the entire area.
"Impossible... Asagi!!" — Upon sensing the presence of Asagi at the center of the blast, Kojou instinctively released his magical power. Six pairs of black-feathered wings burst from his back as he soared into the sky, flying straight toward the Keystone Gate—where the explosion had occurred.
