A month passed by, the public was wrapped with a sense of distress and panic, as monsters suddenly appeared and roamed around.
Ten days later...
At 7:00 a.m. in the morning.
Inside the classroom of class amethyst, Sena close friends gathered around discussing the latest rumors and events that happened in their city.
Mila, as always, gentle as a summer breeze. Her voice is soft and mellow. "Everyone, have you all heard that strange monsters suddenly appear in many places?
"Yeah, it's all over the news." Said Stella
"It was rumored that it's because of those meteorites that these monsters appeared and they said that these monsters are the sign that the world is gonna end and another rumor spread that these monsters are created in a lab by crazy mad scientists." Stenia with black hair and eyes. Her long hair is styled in a bun.
Tonny with a brown hair and eyes," I noticed a lot lately that a lot of policemen and military are roaming around the city."
Jenny busy swiping her phone, commented, "Oh, they're patrolling around, in case of a sudden monster wave, they can help minimize the damage and destruction."
Penny wanted to say something but was interrupted as an abrupt scream suddenly shocked everyone.
"Aaaaah!" Monster!!
Hearing the noise, the students stepped out of the classroom and watched from above what is happening below.
A shadowy figure with a human-like form, its body composed of thick, dark fog that obscures all definition. No eyes, nose, or mouth are visible, just a featureless, black, misty silhouette. The way it was walking at an unsteady pace was resembling a zombie and because their lethality is not that strong many students did not die but were injured.
"All students should evacuate immediately, classes will be suspended, go home and wait for further announcements, I repeat, All students evacuate now from school premises, classes will be suspended, go home and wait for further announcements." The principal voice can be heard on the speaker.
"Everyone, you all heard the principal, hurry! Let's go home and let's use another corridor that is not connected to where the monsters are currently at."
The male class mayor with brown hair and black eyes said as he waited for everyone to finish packing their things. As they rushed out of the classroom and before they could turn left, an unexpected surprise emerged, the monsters they taught who were in another location, were head on encountered.
They scream and run aimlessly.
In the girls bathroom, on the 3rd floor. Sena and her secret close friends are hiding including the infamous Karen.
Moreover, because of her presence, they were greatly bothered and annoyed.
What fate we have to be with this witch.
Sena and her friends thought to themselves. Unknowingly to them they were on the same page.
"What should we do?" Stella asked Mila quietly.
"I don't know, I can't text my mom, my signal is dead." Mila replied in a loss, she didn't know what to do but wait for rescue. She's too scared to go out and encounter the monster again.
Hearing Mila words, everyone's hearts suddenly went chaotic.
"Your mother is the police chief, even without our text, she is definitely going to rescue us." Jenny said with positivity.
Denise wanted to say something but was interrupted as a sudden banging of the door could be heard. It shocked everyone that their soul flew up, as it suddenly happened without any sign.
The group was quiet as a mouse. No one moves unnecessary action but ready themselves for the worst that will happen.
The banging of the door continued until it stopped. They taught the monster left so they breathed in relief but suddenly the door broke.
They scream in terrifying shocks that almost make them faint.
The black shadowy monster slowly walks in. The group were trembling in fear,they thought the monster was definitely gonna attack them and out of the blue, Karen pushed sena to the monster and said, "Hope you die!"
Everyone present gasped as Sena fell down in front of it. Looking at the black shadowy monster higher than a 2.0 meter adult, made sena think, she was definitely gonna die, not instantly but due to injuries although she thought the monsters were cute and cool but her concern about her life overshadowed that impression.
At the same time, the moment she falls down in front of the monster. Everyone threw the things in their hand to the monster, they took it, a while ago as a protection against the monsters although it's not enough to actually cause damage but little things are helpful in desperate situations however in this scenario it had no effect.
Sensing Sena is very close. Its footsteps became faster. They all thought Sena would definitely be injured however a policeman with black hair and blue eyes suddenly arrived and subdued it with a special gun, the monster disappeared as it turned to smoke.
"Are you all alright?" He asked with concern.
Everyone nodded in response and they look at Karen who just a while ago had a smile on her face but is now unhappy.
Noticing the gaze of her classmates, she smiled at them. Then said,"It's a pity."
Sena who is dazed, sitting on the floor suddenly stood up and slapped Karen with all her might and said, "A crazy witch should be locked in the mental hospital, wake up, the things you dream, would never belong to you."
Hearing her words, Karen look at Sena with jealousy and hatred, "Because of you Joshua never accepted me, it was all because of you!"
"You're daydreaming! I admit, I made a mistake as he thought that cake was from me. Day by day, you always told me that it was my fault and if it wasn't for my mistake, you would be his fiancee and I was guilty of that because it was your dream to be his wife. But now I don't think so, although it's my fault that at first you are failed at to be recognized as the cake baker but we explained the mis understanding at the banquet. But the next second, everyone was caught off guard that he confessed to me to be his fiancee despite I am the fake cake baker. So this proves that everything was just your one sided love. It isn't my fault to be the person he likes. If he like you, he will never ever confessed to me."
Karen wanted to speak for rebuttal but Sena continued not giving a chance.
"And one day you change, you persuaded something is better for me but behind my back you're laughing at my stupidity, just because of that sentence, I am your only friend. I trusted you wholeheartedly."
"I cherish you like a sister but just because for a crush that never liked you back, you plotted and bullied me, even if I told anyone, no one believes me, even if it's happening in front of them because they all thought you were an angel."
"No matter how many times you told them about the bad stuff I do, no one will hear you, they will just ignore it, so stop wasting your saliva in telling them my glorious deed, because they will never ever hear it. Remember, that stupid key, you humble beg me, I threw that months ago. You're waiting for nothing and your dear kitty, the grass on its grave is 5 cm long." Karen said with a smile as she looked at sena shock expression.
"I am too naive to trust a snake like you." Sena said, then ice suddenly spread from her feet to the whole bathroom.
Among everyone that is present, only Karen completely turned to an ice statue. They wanted Sena to stop but it was too late, because when they're stunned by the rapid turn of events, they're feet were already glued to the ground by frozen ice. They were immobilized, so they shouted instead and called Sena but it was no use, sena was not responding just standing.
An hour passed by the whole school completely turned to an ice fortress. Every inch of the school area, from the floor to the wall up to the ceiling, everything was covered in crystal clear ice.
Outside the school gate, eight trained fire holder superpowers jumped out of the truck.
They are a member of the 20p fire squads, but only eight were deployed. Some have red hair and eyes but some does not. The group hurriedly walk inside the school and meet the three trainers and twenty students with fire-based superpowers that are helping the students get out of the ice, unfortunately, despite several fire-based superpowers, there speed is slow because they're superpower is not strong enough.
The group saw students who were free from the ice, hurriedly took shovels that were used for their planting session, in the storage room to assist in destroying the ice on the feet of their fellow students.
The eight fire holders spread out.
Julie Williams, a 28 year old woman with red eyes and hair styled in a bun. Mark Walker, a 25 year old man with red eyes and hair in a crew cut hairstyle.
The two ran into the chief of police and her subordinates. Seeing the unfamiliar yet familiar Chief of Police, Julie greeted her, "Chief Selo."
Julie looked at the Chief of Police. Her once black hair and eyes were now blue.
"Come with us, we need the help we can get." Chief Selo said as they run towards where Sena and her friends is.
Upon arriving, Chief Selo saw what was happening inside. She saw john, her subordinates, slashing the ice with his utility knives. Her daughter and her friends are screaming for help, even outside the school bathroom, their voices can be heard.
Seeing her mother, mila shouted, "Mom."
"Don't worry, my dear, Mom will find a way." Her mother replied and said to her team, "Mark,Julie, Bill, Den, melt the ice on their feet and everyone else follows me, we go to the next room."
Hearing that they nodded and spread out. When Mark walked to check sena and before he could touch her shoulder.
At the same time stella saw mark action and she shouted, "Don't touch her!"
However it was too late, thin but sharp spikes of ice suddenly sprouted and encircled around sena.
Mark's hand and most of all his life was saved due to his fast reflexes and said after he calmed down, "What on earth just happened!"
He was deeply shocked and so was everyone else that had just arrived.
Chief Selo and her three subordinates who were in the next room assisting in breaking the ice on the students feet, heard the noise and they hurriedly ran to the school bathroom.
Seeing her, mark pointed at sena and said, "Chief that girl is...."
Chief Selo nodded and said, "Everyone, don't walk near or touch her, just focused on melting the ice on those kids."
Chief Selo pointed at her daughter and her friend's location and walked out of the room with her three subordinates.
Twenty minutes have passed.
"Chief Selo, this girl's name is Karen and no matter what we do, we cannot melt the ice that covered her." Mark said.
Before she could utter a word, Chief Selo was interrupted by her daughter, "Mom, if there is a more powerful fire holder now, they can easily melt this but we don't have that now and I think maybe sena is the only way who can unfreeze her."
"Sena?" She asked her daughter
"That's her" Mila pointed at sena, who was dropping her head and added, "The one who started this can end this." Hearing her words, her mother gazed at Sena.
In a world full of blackness all eyes can see, Sena walked in confusion.
"Where is this? This place is all black, I have been walking for five minutes and there is no end to this blackness." Then, Sena suddenly saw a girl standing at the distance, to get the girl attention, she shouted hello but the girl never turned aroud. Then she shouted again, the girl still didn't turned around. So she ran to her but no matter how fast or slow, Sena ran towards the girl, she was not getting nearer.
