Then her Brother Jonathan walked towards her and said with a sincere compliment and a smile on his face, "White long hair, ocean-like eyes, cherry pink lips and smooth white skin. A navy blue school blazer with a white long-sleeve polo and a long navy blue necktie underneath. Together with a navy blue pleated skirt that falls above the knee and a black shoes with low heels. My sister is looking radiant and beautiful. I bet there are many suitors around you, waiting for an answer."
Hearing his words, Sena looked at him and said, "Enough with the flattery brother. I know you're just messing with me."
"If that's what you assume to believe, then believe it. I won't be able to change your mind anyway." He said then he added, "You should hurry or else, you will be late."
"Don't worry, Brother. I have my ways." Sena said with a confident look on her face. Then she asked,
"By the way, have Mom and Brother lu already left the house?"
"Yeah, they're pretty busy." Jonathan Said
Sena nodded in reply, "Mother has an emergency in her flower shop and Brother Lu has a business trip abroad.
Jonathan: Sis, about your hair, Mother has told us about it and you don't need to worry about it in school, your classmates not just them but the whole world, theirs too have changed.
Sena: Yeah, I know, she consulted me beforehand.
Jonathan: I'm going downstairs to eat, so you should hurry.
Sena: Okay.
After everything is done and all sorted out, she walks downstairs and eats breakfast.
Minutes later she leaves the house together with Jonathan. As she got out of her Brother Jonathan's car before she could close the door her brother left a word of advice for her, "If anyone bully you please tell me, don't hide it because if you continue to hide it they will become more and more reckless. You have your Big brother back on you, you have nothing to fear, okay."
"Thanks, Big bro." Hearing those words Sena felt warm. Then, she thought sadly.
I already told you a thousand times yet you been blind, it's like you, Brother lu and Mother been brainwash by her to not notice my despair. Nonetheless, I will continue in finding ways that one day, you will all notice my silent sorrow.
"You're Welcome" Her brother smiled at her and drove back to the road, not noticing her silent grief.
Sena watched her brother's car disappear into the distance.
As she walked through the corridors towards her classroom, she felt like a zoo animal, with all eyes focused on her. As she took a step inside her classroom, she subconsciously sighed in relief.
She walked to her desk and sat down, waiting for the bell to ring but a mean looking girl with black hair and eyes suddenly walked to her and started mocking her.
Her face is painted with unhidden hatred.
"Oh it seems that little missy got a new makeover but apparently it is so cheap that her hair even turned white like some plastic bag thrown on the road."
"Who are you again? Oh, it's Karen, right. You know, You really don't need to come here early in the morning just to say you were jealous of everything I have. I'm so impressed karen, you done it again, your sincerity and honest words touch my heart." Sena smiled at her.
Karen clenched her fist in anger as she heard Sena's words. Before storming off, she left Sena a menacing glance and said, "This isn't over!"
Sena just rolled her eyes in the threatening words of Karen and kept quiet like nothing has happened because she's used to it.
I didn't even know when or how I provoked Karen and those girls. One day, they just started pranking me for fun or jealousy and because Karen is the city mayor's adopted daughter. She had the advantage to do her things quietly without the teachers or even the mayor knowing. It's like she had magic to cover up her tracks.
The bell rang throughout the school campus and students swiftly came into their respective classrooms to avoid the punishment in being late in class.
"Good Morning Ms. Sherl." The class stands up as they greet the teacher who just came in. She has black hair styled in a bun, and her eyes are green. She walked to the teacher's desk, put down her books and said, "Please take your seats." As she sat down on the chair, the class also did the same.
She opened her record book and started calling the student names.
As she finished, she stood up and said, "Some of you here have supernatural powers. I hope you all use it with responsibility and avoid harming others. Also, I would like to tell all of you that there will be a test for tomorrow so study your notes well."
"Additionally, the government has given three tutors to our school. Mainly to train students with superpowers on how to control their unexpected gifts. The training schedule will be 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. but to those without, classes will continue."
"Our school rules, dyeing a hair and wearing contact lenses is still forbidden and will not change but those who experienced mutation brought by the meteorites will be exempted since it will be their natural eyes and hair from now on."
"Yes, Miss Sherl." The Class replied in sync. A minute later, she began discussing her lesson.
Time passes so quickly and the school bell rang for the 3rd time, the male teacher bid farewell and the class dispersed for a short recess break.
"Alexia shall we eat together?" Sena asked the girl with short black hair and eyes in front of her.
"I'm sorry I had something to do." Alexia replied then she stood up and walked away.
"What about you Bree, Shera, Eraya, would you join me for recess?" Sena asked, the three identical triplets who were standing near the window. They all have long black hair and eyes.
"I'm sorry Sena. We are already booked." Bree said as they walked away.
Even though she knew that they were going to reject her invitation she still sighed in melancholy and thought.
Her influence is really powerful. I can't help but feel powerless, I tried everything to break free from her grasp but it was no use, nonetheless as long as I am breathing, I will never bow down to her.
Then she sat on her desk and started her recess. A chocolate cake and pineapple juice. Among the pairs and trios of classmates that surround her, she looked lonely compared to others, she had no one to talk to and to laugh with. Moreover, among the classmates that surround her, most are her close friends but for the sake of everyone's safety, they should pretend to be distant and indifferent to each other.
As she stood up on her desk and preparing to leave the room, suddenly Karen appeared and walked to her and said with a mocking smile, "Look at you, all alone, your friend's avoided you because you are a rat, a dirty rat."
"You're still alive, I thought you died, with all the makeup in your face, it's so thick that it's perfect for a corpse like you." Sena replied with a smile and as the two were bickering with each other, Sena close friends watched in worry.
Karen smiled despite Sena's provocative words, however deep inside, she was fuming with anger and
to get back at Sena, she planned to utter some threatening words to scare her and extinguish her fighting spirit. With a strut like a peacock, she said with a smirk."Little old lady got some fire but be careful what if it burned you instead." Then, she left without looking back, but before she could step out of the door.
Sena countered back at her and said, "No matter how many times you apply makeup, its still can't hide your rotting flesh." Hearing those words, Karen did not stop nor look back at Sena but just clenched her fist in anger and vowed to get revenge as soon as possible.
Hours passed by...
In the afternoon class schedule, the bell rang for the third time.
Sena looked at the scenery outside and thought in a dazed.
It's three in the afternoon, I wonder how they are doing in the gymnasium? It's been an hour since the training started. Just like some of my friends and classmates here, although our hair and eyes changed it doesn't mean we have superpowers, so we're not included in the training program. There are also some who haven't changed their physical features but have superpowers similar to my mother, who retained her black hair and eyes and currently, they have the biggest percentage.
A few minutes later....
Sena close friend walked to her and said, "Don't go to the bathroom, I heard they are waiting for you there."
Sena never replied to her words but the girl still smiled and walked towards her seat.
Hours passed by, and the sun slowly set while the moon gradually rose above the clouds.
In an abandoned warehouse, a group of mean looking girls gather, encircling a kneeling girl with injuries all over her body.
"Why did you tell her? Betty. You are meddling in my business. You can just stay out of this situation, if you do not interfere in the first place however your sense of justice pushes you through, so this is my prize for you, a busybody." Karen looked at Betty with annoyance and anger.
"It's too much, Karen. It could kill her." Betty replied in an argumentative manner.
Hearing her words, Karen just rolled her eyes and, with her arms crossed and an indifferent demeanor, replied, "Why would I care? You know, I'd be happy if she died."
