When he walked back to his group, he was all smiles despite his loss. Lin-hae, who was prepared to comfort him, was surprised to see he didn't look the least bit frustrated from losing.
"Looks like you're not completely useless after all." She finally said.
His smile widened. "If I had a couple more minutes, I would've worn him down. Eventually."
"How—" she started to say, but stopped herself. She shook her head instead. "You know what, sometimes it's best not to feed into stupidity. It only makes you stupid by association."
Min-joon put a hand over his chest in offense. "Are you calling me stupid?"
Lin-hae shot him a deadpan look.
The fights continued like usual until it was Byeon Haon's turn to step up. He turned to look at Eun-woo, who was staring ahead with a smile.
"Wish me luck."
Eun-woo almost snorted. If anyone needed luck, it was the person he'd be going against.
