"What exactly do you mean by I should calm down?" I snapped at Michael.
"All I'm saying is you should be calm and try to reason up something." He said.
"As if there is anything I can do in this case, you saw the look in his eyes too. Dilan is a tenacious man… unless he gets what he wants from me, trust me… he would never give up.
"Yeah, I know too well the kind of person he is but…" He pointed to my fifth bottle of whiskey. "That shouldn't make you restless like he has you trapped in a dead end."
Michael was right, I wondered why I allowed Dilan's words affect me. It wasn't like I was going to marry his slutty daughter.
I lowered the almost empty bottle in my hand on the small table before me. "At this point, I think it's best if we leave the palace."
"And where are we going to exactly?" Michael eyed me.
"My hotel." I simply said.
"You mean the one you sold out when Dilan kicked you out?"
"If you love your heart, don't piss me off."
