My eyes slowly popped open, I closed it back almost immediately. Who the hell opened the darn windows?
With one hand on my head, I slowly sat up. I felt weak, tired, hungry and worse of all, thirsty for blood.
I looked around the room, I was in Zeeland's room. Wait a minute… Zeeland's room?
I jerked off the bed immediately, did I not try to escape last night? Why then was I still in the palace?
Memories of last night came flooding my head. Me running out of the palace. Lost in the middle of nowhere. The rain and thunderclap. Zeeland saving me.
I took a step forward to wear my clothes but I felt a thug of wire pulling me back. I yanked off the silly wire off my wrist, Ignoring the blood dripping from my wrist, I slid over my head a long plain straight gown.
Just as I held the door knob, I heard a voice behind me. "I can see you're awake and might I ask if you're going somewhere?"
