It was late in the evening when the carriage finally arrived at the castle.
After their long journey, Julian didn't spare her a glance till they finally arrived home.
On reaching home, the Coachman opened the door for them to step down.
Julian got down and stretched his hand for her to hold to get down.
Lila slowly placed her hand on his hand as he clapsed it together before walking inside with her.
They walked side by side as the servants paved way for the prince and the new lady of the castle to walk in.
They walked a few miles before arriving at the dinning room.
"Greetings your majesty"! Julian bowed his head same as Lila.
"Have a seat and welcome home Lila". King Lachlan waved his hand dismissively.
Prince Julian pulled out a chair for her to seat down.
Lila sat down while Julian sat next to her.
"Lets all eat". King Lachlan said as he picked his cutlery to start eating. While they were eating,
Crown Prince Thomas gaze fell on Lila who was staring at the raw red meat on her.
"Don't you like red meat?" Thomas asked her gaining everyone's attention.
Lila raised her head to look at the crown Prince befysge turned to look at Julian who was also giving her questioning look as though being curious.
"No. I eat only cooked meat". She replied honestly.
King Lachlan snapped his fingers and few maids came in head bow.
"Get the young lady homemade human food". He ordered and the maids bowed before going to do their bidding.
After a short while, they came back with some home made food like roasted chicken and some chicken wings and hot soup.
Lila's mouth watered as she thanked the king before devouring her meals.
After they were done eating,
King Lachlan spoke,
"Lila will stay in the guest room". He ordered and Lila nodded meekly and also grateful for the king for not allowing her to spend the night in Julian's chamber.
"Thank you your majesty". She sounded grateful.
"It's nothing". The king dismissed her words and stood up and left.
"I will also take my leave. " Louisa said with a smile as she too stand up and left. With that, everyone slowly exited the room.
The next day ★★★
The sun was slowly coming out through the horizon when Mrs Fraser had woken up, had her bath and wore her clothes and left the house before her daughter had husband wakes up.
She began to walk as fast as her legs could carry before entering the public Carriage.
"River sile".
The Coachman nodded and began to ride to River sile. The ride to River sile was a pretty long as they past various villages and towns. River sile is a very small town with no many occupants in that vicinity.
After riding for more than two hours,
They finally arrived at River sile. Mrs Fraser got down from the carriage and paid the man five nickel of coins and left.
She walked some more distance before arriving at a small hut.
The hut was covered in brown paints. The door was made of golden stones while the roof was covered in animal skin. She knocked on the door once and the door was swiftly opened revealing a woman who looks like she is in her mid forties.
She was dressed in silky robes and her golden hair looks like a bright sun in the sky.
She had a small birth mark of a star sign on her both cheeks before her lips curled up into a wide smile upon seeing her sister.
"Linda! You came?" Reese was slightly amused on seeing her sister.
"Yes I came and not for fun. But for something very important ". Mrs Fraser went straight to the point causing Reese to pour her lips in annoyance.
She had always known her sister to be this tight lipped except this one time that she made a mistake and confessed. Since then, they haven't seen each other except sending her children for some etiquettes training.
"Come in". Reese paved way for her to enter inside while she closed the door.
Reese sat on the floor while Mrs Fraser sat on the small wooden stool.
"So...what's the important reason that brought you to River sile?" Reese asked calmly as she picked up a kettle and poured some cinnamon tea inside two small cups.
"The royal vampire family have come to take Lila's hand in marriage". Mrs Fraser said bluntly causing Reese to almost choke.
"What did you say?" She asked dropping her cup down.
"You heard me right. " She said with a sigh.
"And not only that....." She narrated the whole story of how Lila had secretly written a secret letter or the vampire king and visited his castle. And now the king is bent on marrying his son to my daughter. " She said gnashing her teeth angrily.
Reese listened to Linda's rant and waited for her to finish.
Once she was done, Reese spoke with a calm voice.
"Drink your cinnamon tea".
"I DON'T WANT A CINNAMON TEA, I WNAT TI GET DAUGHTERS MARRIED HO HUMAN MEN". Mrs Fraser snapped angrily irritated at the fact that her sister whom she had come to meet and rely on was being so calm about this whole matter.
Reese was unmoved by her sister's anger and just motioned for her to drink her cinnamon tea.
"And what if I refuse?" Mrs Fraser was pissed.
"Drink up and I will be back. " She said casually.
"What do you mean? Mrs Fraser asked with a confused frown.
I want to go and see the royal witches. We are having a meeting now. Reese explained calmly.
"Then what about my matter?" Mrs Fraser asked through gritted teeth.
"When I come back, we will think of a solution. But for now, let me go and also don't forget your tea". She said calmly and stood up to leave.
"Take care, I will be back soon". Reese said calmly and with that left leaving only Mrs Fraser in the small hut.
