The Sky Island
As its name suggested, the Sky Island was an island floating high above the clouds.
Created by the Omnipotent Alchemist, Seraphine, it served as New Dawn's mobile fortress and headquarters.
And somewhere on that floating island, a woman was currently nursing a terrible headache.
Seraphine.
The leader of New Dawn.
The owner of the Sky Island.
An S-rank villain.
And, unfortunately, the Omnipotent Alchemist.
"…So, you're telling me you just came back like this?"
"Yes. That's right."
Seraphine pressed a hand against her throbbing temple as she listened to her subordinate casually explain how he had failed.
'Do I have any painkillers left?'
She thought about it for a moment.
'Actually, a tranquilizer might be better.'
She shook her head and came back to her senses.
At least there wasn't any major problem.
The villains at the scene had all been wiped out, after all.
