Chapter 308: The Divine Battle Part I
The God King of Destruction's lips twitched, his gaze brimming with lethal intent.
"Such audacity! Prepare to die!"
Enraged to the extreme, the God King of Destruction had one thought killing Ye Wen. As for expecting Ye Wen, who had spent the past six months studying the God Realm's core, to now repair it? The God King of Destruction was far too seasoned to believe his current opponent would be so accommodating.
At that moment, the other three God Kings arrived, alarmed to see the God King of Destruction about to strike. If he killed Ye Wen, all hope for the God Realm would be lost.
The Life God King cried out, "Zi! Spare his life; he may be our last hope for the God Realm."
As the God King of Destruction launched his fierce attack, Ye Wen deftly evaded it. Seeing his wife intervene, he managed to regain a sliver of reason, but his tone remained icy.
"This brat has already severed ties with us completely. Let's kill him first. We'll keep his soul and search it afterward to see if any hope remains. If not, we'll all have to drift through the universe as exiles."
Even the usually gentle Life God King knew this was no time for mercy; she gave a slight, solemn nod.
The Good and Evil God Kings also aligned, their gazes on Ye Wen now filled with hostility.
Seeing all the God Kings summon their ultra divine weapons, Ye Wen didn't flinch. Instead, he flashed a slight smile.
"Finally, everyone's here."
Every one of them was a seasoned warrior who had earned their position as a God King through countless battles, and they all felt that something was amiss.
In that split second, Ye Wen formed seals with his hands. Seeing the familiar hand movements, the God King of Destruction's face changed drastically.

Before he could finish, all five of the God Realm's most powerful forces were drawn into a pure, empty world.
The faces of the four God Kings darkened.
The same technique wielded by different hands varied in power. Back when Ye Wen was only a second level god, the God King of Destruction could forcibly peer into Ye Wen's domain with his divine power and even shatter it with a wave. But with Ye Wen now at the level of a God King, such an approach was no longer feasible.
"This is troublesome," muttered the God King of Destruction, mirroring the unease of the other God Kings.
The Evil God King raised his ultra divine weapon, the Scales of Judgment, and said coldly, "Calm down, Brother Destruction. Even if this domain is more advanced, he's still only an early stage God King. To be safe, let's give it our all. We've got enough chaos in the God Realm right now without wasting time on this traitor."
The God King of Destruction nodded in agreement and glanced at his wife. In an instant, the two couples reached an unspoken understanding, and their divine powers began to converge.
Ye Wen narrowed his eyes at their preparations but made no move to interfere.
As they'd said, he was only an early stage God King. Before him stood four formidable foes: the God Kings of Destruction and Life, who had reached the peak of God King power, and the God Kings of Good and Evil, who were at the advanced God King level. He stood no chance against them individually, much less combined. Moreover, Ye Wen was aware that his domain's capabilities had been exposed.

Void Obliteration was a derived skill from the Power of Creation, formed by the fusion of the Destruction and Life God Kings' powers. If used well, it could counter nearly any enemy.
The Sword of the Three Realms' Judgment was the ultimate move created by the first generation Good and Evil God Kings. It had been developed after the Golden Dragon King had, despite a near fatal assault by five God Kings, barely managed to survive by entering a dragon cocoon. The first Good and Evil God Kings, recognizing their own limitations, crafted this move to ensure that, should they face the Golden Dragon King again, they could finish him in one blow. It was considered the pinnacle of divine offensive techniques.
Ye Wen smirked. You all really think highly of me. For beings who usually seem so laid back, when the real fight comes, you're willing to go all out.
Though unsure of the exact mechanics behind the two moves, Ye Wen knew their power must be terrifying. His Boundless World domain was already showing signs of collapse under their intensity.
Ye Wen concentrated all his spatial power, extending the distance as far as possible, keeping the devastating attacks from reaching him.
The God King of Destruction furrowed his brow at the scene. Although Ye Wen's technique was distinct from the folded passage of the God Realm's core, it had a similar effect, making the God King of Destruction curse. The brat really learned a thing or two, and he's using it against us. Damn him!
The Evil God King frowned as well. "This isn't working. Our attacks may be powerful, but he's going to wear us down if we continue like this. We need another plan."
