Chapter 304: The Balance of Power Begins to Shift (Conclusion)

"Do angels really exist?" Qian Xue asked sincerely.

Although the six winged Angel Spirit was revered as a god tier spirit on Douluo, it essentially functioned like a beast spirit, drawing on life's bloodlines as its foundation. Seeing Ye Wen nod calmly, Qian Xue's curiosity piqued.

"Could you tell me more?" she asked.

Despite being the Angel God of the Divine Realm, Qian Xue was embarrassed to realize she knew almost nothing about the origins of angels.

"This is just what I've heard, so take it with a grain of salt," Ye Wen said, beginning his explanation. "In a far off part of the universe, there exists another Divine Realm. There, much like the Dragon God once ruled here, a god holds the position of a Creator God with a primeval god tier. However, unlike our Divine Realm's diversity, his realm knows only one kind of deity Angel Gods. Or, more accurately, there is only one race: the angel race. This race, entirely created by this god, serves him, fights his battles, and handles his affairs. Naturally, the godly powers wielded by these angelic deities are all derived from the Creator God's own domains."

At this, Ye Wen paused, studying Qian Xue's contemplative expression before continuing.

"As for this realm, its ancient history is mostly unknown. But it's clear that, during the Dragon God's reign, he frequently waged war across the stars. It's possible he encountered this angelic race during his campaigns or somehow managed to obtain a fallen angel's corpse amidst the chaos of a spatial rift and kept it as a trophy. When the Dragon God fell, this angelic bloodline may have seeped into Douluo, becoming part of the spirit world. So, Qian Xue, does this shed light on the path you must take?"

Qian Xue sat silently, processing everything Ye Wen had said. The revelations struck deeply. What she had always seen as the supreme Angel Spirit now seemed nothing more than an extension of another god's design a servant, a soldier, even a slave to a higher being. The angel, once revered as a "messenger of heaven," was now reduced to a mere tool of this "heavenly" creator.

While Qian Xue wrestled with her disillusionment, a warm hand rested atop her head, gently smoothing her soft hair.

"What are you worried about?" Ye Wen's voice was soothing. "An angel is just an angel, but you are you. Do you remember the essence of being a soul master? It's about conquest. You aren't some celestial servant you're Qian Xue, the Angel God of humanity."

Ye Wen's words washed over her, dispelling her confusion and bringing clarity. She embraced him silently, grateful and full of unspoken emotions.

After a long while, Ye Wen broke the silence with a gentle murmur.

"Qian Qian…Xue Xue…will you be my angel?"

A shiver passed through Qian Xue, and she slowly nodded. "If an angel's destiny is to serve its creator, then you are my god."

Her head lifted, golden eyes shining with fierce resolve as she met Ye Wen's gaze. At that moment, the barriers around her heart shattered, and the door to the once distant realm of God King opened wide. Sensing the shift, Ye Wen smiled softly and said, "Then go."

"Mm…" she murmured, already feeling the transformation within.

Three thousand years passed after Creator God Ye Wen returned to the Divine Realm. Over that span, Douluo Star underwent monumental changes: global unification, a leap in soul guided civilization, unprecedented freedom for soul masters, and even a new peace between hundred thousand year soul beasts and humans. The changes were so vast they defied simple description.

In the grand Holy Soul Council, high within the Supreme Hall of the now unified Saint Soul Empire, the statues of the three gods Ye Wen, Bibi Dong, and Qian Xue remained pristine, untouched by time.

Today, the hall was filled with council members who usually managed the empire's affairs, but this time, they were joined by dozens of god level powerhouses. Unlike the prideful demeanor of their usual interactions, these divine beings maintained a solemn silence in the Holy Soul Council's sacred chamber.

Suddenly, the statue of Ye Wen the God of the Vast Sea radiated a gentle golden light. The light gathered, coalescing into a figure a tall, lean silhouette whose calm presence exuded both strength and humility.

"It's been a thousand years. How have you all been?" Ye Wen's warm voice filled the hall.

In the front row, a few elders Ye Wen's earliest disciples and now some of the highest ranking individuals on Douluo Star found their eyes brimming with emotion.

"Master…"

"Lord…"

"Principal…"

Exchanging familiar greetings with those who had known him since the beginning, Ye Wen took his seat at the head of the council.

"Please, take a seat."

As he spoke, the god level warriors sat down, their eyes bright and focused on Ye Wen.

Looking over them all, Ye Wen was pleased. Over the past three millennia, he had subtly guided resources and support to Douluo Star. Now, he looked upon nearly three hundred god level powerhouses, all strong and battle ready. Though not an overwhelming number, each one, outfitted with the Six word God Armor, possessed combat power equivalent to a second tier god. Their strength now rivaled, and in some aspects surpassed, that of the Divine Realm.

"Thank you all for your hard work these past years. Xiao Rui, Xiao Quan, Qiao Qiao, Xiao Rou, Xiao Teng, Xiao Bao, Jiao Jiao, Xiao Xin, Yu You, Old Poison, Director Lu Feng, Teacher Tie Man…"

Ye Wen took his time, calling each name, his gaze full of nostalgia. Those addressed felt warmth surge through them, for even three thousand years hadn't dulled their bond with Ye Wen.

As those in the back watched, they felt a profound sense of respect for Ye Wen's kindness. These younger god level cultivators had grown up listening to tales of his greatness, and while they had initially felt nervous about meeting him in person, Ye Wen's manner quickly bridged the gap.

Finally, after catching up, it was time for serious matters.

Ye Wen's face grew solemn as he shifted into formal discussion mode.
