A twenty-one-year-old Sorelia Bryndal ventured her way through the stretchy halls of the cathedral, her pure white dress dragging across the red carpet that covered the stone floors, shielding it from the dust that flew through the windows.
As she walked, her heals clicking, she couldn't shake the innate feeling that something watched over her, looming over her like an assassin ready to confirm if their victim was valid or not.
"Sorelia.." a feminine voice whispered, cold and detached.
The young woman turned, glancing around to see who that could be, "Is anybody there?" she asked, but of course nobody replied back.
Seeing that this was just a figment of her imagination, her minds playing tricks on her, Sorelia turned back to where she was going only to catch sight of something moving into the study room, the room where her adopted father told her never to venture into.
