Looking at his bounty poster, he saw that the marine gave him a funny name. "The Demon of South Blue."
"Those f*cking marines, better not meet me, tsk," said Ling as he was writing a letter to Rouge while rowing with his legs.
Suddenly a huge sea king appeared in front of him, the head was bigger than both Ling and the boat combined. Feeling his boat rock, Ling was quite annoyed because some of the water splashed onto his letter.
Looking at the sea king, Ling jumped into the water and wrestled it to death. The reason he can ignore the sea is because of his madman training. He would tie boulders to himself and do pushups underwater, at first, he couldn't even move in the water but his body adapted like water.
Now, he can swim for a long time without rest. Underwater, doesn't allow oxygen as well, so he gained the ability to breathe underwater since he perfectly controls how he gets oxygen. That is the power of perfect control.
Dragging the broken sea king towards the nearest island, he ate all of it and threw the bones back into the sea. Looking around the island, he was amazed that every island has its very own weather cycle.
Jumping tree to tree, he heard laughing coming from the other side of the island. Landing near the other side of the island, he saw a huge ship that had a flag with the name Rocks with a skull in place of the O.
Before he knew it, he was surrounded by people and a man with long white hair and a red captain's coat. Drinking a bottle of brandy, the man with long white hair spoke, "Are you a spy?"
"Who are you people?" asked Ling as he had his guard up, some of these people had a strong aura, especially this man in front of him.
One of the crew members yelled at Ling, "Don't you know? We are the Rock Pirates and watch your tone boy. You are talking to Captain John."
"John, is your name?"
Captain John had a vein protruding from his head, "Disrespectful boy, you must not know my bounty, haha!"
Looking around, Ling was trying to figure out how to escape, "Should it matter if you are gonna kill me?"
Captain John's eyebrow raised, "That is true, it seems, you are smarter than you look, haha!"
Throwing a sudden rock at Captain John's forehead, his eyes widened at the speed of the rock, and dodged easily using observation haki. Using this distraction, he stomped the ground making it shake a little.
The crew members fell one by one as they couldn't hold their footing, Captain John jumped up and onto a tree as he watched Ling run towards the sea. Feeling curious, he pulled out a sword and slashed a flying slash that was 5 meters long and wide at Ling's back.
Without turning around, Ling felt the danger and jumped to the side, "Amazing reflexes!" Sending out another slash that was now 10 meters long and wide, it sliced through trees to get to Ling. Facing the slash, Ling felt the pressure as he jumped away barely as the slash nicked his arm a bit leaving a small cut that bled.
"Just let me escape!" yelled Ling as he looked at Captain John with murderous intent.
Chuckling, Captain John walked slowly towards Ling as he put haki onto his blade making it black as ink.
Swinging it slightly, a slash that was 30 meters wide flew toward Ling who saw that there was no way to escape without injuries, so he stood his ground and condensed all of his adrenaline and muscles.
Tightening every single piece of muscle he had, he swung out a fist towards the slash.
*Boom*
Captain John's slash was stopped for ten seconds until Ling felt his body overexert his power, and he directed the slash toward the sky using the last bit of his strength. Panting hard, Ling gulped hard and looked at Captain John.
He was still walking but now, he had an amazed look in his eyes, "Boy, you are strong, how did you train?"
Ling could barely hold his body up as he looked John in the eye, "F*ck you."
"Naughty mouth, I guess, in your next life, you better watch how you talk," said Captain John as he rushed towards Ling.
Swinging his blade towards Ling's heart, feeling danger, the only thing in this world that makes some improve or despair...
Catching the blade with one hand, Ling directed the slash with his hand towards the ground. As the blade was redirected, Ling felt his hand numb, but he swung out a fist toward Captain John's face.
Without bothering to dodge, Captain John let the fist him, but this was a big mistake.
*Boom*
He was sent flying as he didn't even use haki to coat his face nor tighten his muscles so he was like a pudgy wall. Feeling his cheekbone broken, Captain John stopped his flight with his blade as he stuck it onto the ground stopping his momentum.
Touching his face, he was quite livid, "How did you like that!" yelled Ling as he suddenly ran towards the sea and swam away.
Captain John was about to follow until he felt something weird on his body, he saw that the Den Den Mushi that Captain Rocks gave him was smashed. Feeling sweat on his brows, he quickly gathered his men and drove away. "Just wait, I will kill you myself!" yelled Captain John.
A crew member gave Captain John a bounty of the person they met. "Sir, he is only worth ten million, his name is Ling and he is called the Demon of South Blue."
"Demon huh, haha, when we meet again, a demon I will show him!" said Captain John releasing his conqueror's haki stunning all of the crew members.
Poking his head out of the sea, he saw that the big ship was gone and sighed in relief, gathering his strength, he swam to his boat on the other side of the island and lay down breathing heavily.
He felt his blood pumping and the threat of death didn't deter him at all, the only thing he didn't want was a needless fight.
