2 months after the meeting with Michael
[1st person pov]
Okay it has been some few weeks since I made that deal with Michael and looking back on what I have done since then, well it can only be described as lazy and boring! Why you may ask? Barry wondering out loud.
Well it's simply because for the first time in a while I have a whole list of things, spells and new ideas that I am dying to test out with my powers and abilities but i haven't been able to do that.
Why haven't I been able to? Well it's partly thanks to my gramps, for starters he feels that I've gotten too old and he wants me to get married, so he can have children to play with crazy right? Barry muses bitterly, But even worse than that is that ever since he found out that i went to meet up with Michael, well let's just my space has become very crowded! So now I can't even have a moment of silence nor a free space to myself where I can think and concentrate.
As for the main reason that makes it unusual! Well for the first time in forever. I genuinely have no idea how to go about actualizing my ideas or I simply don't have the resources to accomplish what I need to get the job done! Now I know you must be thinking why not just use the gray fog from the castle as a bypass to solve this material issue, well I can't do that mainly for two reason;
For starters, please remember that my whole trick of casting spells and bypassing the need for a medium is due to the simple fact that the fog from castle's realm can be used as a bypassing material to act in the place of whatever medium I need but this ability of mine is built on the fact that__
_One, I have a decent understanding of the structure, the composite makeup and the corresponding effects of the material that is needed and how it relates back to my spells.
And two, I actually need to have an idea or understanding of the mystical aura and energy that is produced by said material/ingredient. It is only once I have these two conditions down can I then proceed to bypass the requirement of a medium in spell, ritual or Incarnation using the castle's energy or the gray fog.
But that's the issue here cause right now I am using inspirations from novels to comics and any film of interest from my past life to create brand new spells since I noticed that some abilities, spells and skills that they have are really powerful, you normally won't see me trying to do something so time-wasting since well I don't understand how their abilities work so I can't recreate it.
But that all changed a week ago when I found out that great sage can actually analyse the abilities from my memories and then create suitable constructs and skills for me to use though it may differ from the original abilities, Gs(great sage) said that is due to the fact that the power and laws that supports the original power and my own are completely different even the world is also different so the abilities will have to be adjusted to match my source of power along with that of the world I am in.
So on that note I decided to make some abilities, a sum total of up to five spells and abilities were created through this process... funny how i wanted to make more but couldn't because I don't understand them enough about them yet or because I don't have the needed resources.
Well let's get down to the breakdown, the first ability is known as divination!! Now you must be wondering can't I already do that as a magical being but here's the kicker this divination is just straight up superior to what any other person can do... great sage made this using inspiration from the Lotm series to create a very special divination ability, it is an ability that has without a doubt reached the level of an authority.
That's what makes this so powerful since an ability of this level cannot in anyway be countered, stopped or even disrupted since it is guaranteed to work once it has been casted, as such the most anyone can do is to delay its spell activation but they will never be able to stop the spell from working.
As for what I can do with this skill of mine well the list is endless since for one, I can now get information about anything, anywhere or anyone even if said target has been cloaked by even the strongest of covens working together crazy right? Absolutely.
But that should put into perspective just how broken this new seemingly simple ability of mine is, it can be said that the only way to hide from me is ensure I don't even know about you!! Which is well close to impossible in this world, what with all the knowledge and influence I have at my disposal in the world of tvd.

Hmm, I should really stop doing that cause it makes innocent little me look evil. Barry thinks sadly while remembering he has some very interesting stuffs to work on since he most likely won't get involved in anything until when the storyline of the originals have started.
Hmmn, it feels like I am forgetting something? Ohh yeah.
As for my second ability, it is very different from the other abilities spells or even skills I have used or made since this an ability that is made and used by purely relying on the Everjade castle's fog but make no mistake this has the potential to be my go to ability. You must be confused, aren't you? Then allow me to explain for you.
Well I came to the conclusion that I'm always using the fog as a makeshift ingredient for all my supernatural activities only but here's the kicker what if i wasn't using it as a make up for something else but just a stand alone item.
The result is that I realised that the gray fog can actually be used in more ways than I ever imagined!! Firstly I can conjure the fog in an invisible and non-corporeal state and then wrap myself up with it, the effect is that I become immune to all manner of divination, detection and locating magic since nothing can see through the fog. Even better is the fact that I can keep it running for as long as I desire without any consequence.
I can also choose to summon it in a fully visible and corporeal form which grants the effect of nullifying any active magic or mystical power that comes in contact with the fog. Now the issue with this mode is that one, I cannot sustain it being active for long otherwise I will be completely drained of energy shocking right? And while I can nullify the cause or the direct effect of the magic against me in this state, I can't truly nullify the resulting effect from mystical magic that are either too old or just too interwoven with other things.
And lastly, this new usage allows for multiple clones that can operate on their own but are in the end, one self and one person. This is done by gathering up a certain amount of the gray fog then proceeding to suffuse it with the energy from the Everjade Castle and using my blood as the core essence.
Through this I can directly create an avatar of myself that is equipped with all of my mystical power and ability plus due to them sharing a mental link to me, they have access to great sage's power, knowledge and assistance though there is a limit to how many I can create mainly due to the lack of mental power.
With the only downside being that they lack the ability to connect to the Everjade Castle, nor use any aspect of its powers and accompanying gifts but that is something that I can live with and accept right? I absolutely can live with that.
But actually none of this ability are as important to me as this last ability, barry thinks with smile."Oliver, what do you think my greatest weakness is ?".
Hmmn, this really isn't a challenge but i do know that the boss doesn't like half hearted answer so let's do this ~ Oliver replies to him gleefully " well boss, it should without a doubt be that you can be killed cause while you seem to possess the ability of no longer ageing like us vamps and also a possess a healing factor that is above that of the average human. At the end of the day you can still be killed!! Hell if you are hit in the wrong side then you could just even bleed to death boss"
"Indeed that's the issue I face right now and I do really need to fix that problem of mine but beyond that go and pass this message to my gramps, tell him that I'll be going out next week for some sightseeing hehehe" barry jokingly says.
Door opening and closing as Oliver walks out.
Indeed that is what makes this final ability so useful since it allows me to get rid of the greatest weakness that has plagues me, my mortality or you could say my ability to die.
In essence so long as great sage is still functional, he can directly channel the otherworldly power of the Everjade Castle into my body, to superimpose it upon my regenerative factor and in doing so elevate it to a level beyond what it is capable of normally.
And the result of this is that, I can no longer stay dead cause now any wound, injury or death will simply be healed or negated in some cases to achieve the idea of healing my body.
By far and without a doubt, my most useful ability in my arsenal right now!!
