Chapter 41 - Bosa Goes Home (2)

Goku's gut feeling had been right, he woke up early just for this moment. The son that had died in his arms several months ago was now standing there happier than ever to see him again. Then, Bosa flew into Goku's arms, hugging his Papa. And Goku hugged him back, both shedding tears.

"Welcome home, Bosa. We missed you, I missed you."

"I missed you too, Papa. I really missed you a lot…" Bosa, still sniffling, leaned back and smiled. "There's a couple of others I brought home with me."

Goku looked over at the other two people, one was a woman currently crying and a man deciding to hide his own emotions. Then he noticed… "They have tails, like me?"

"She's Grandma Gine, and he's Grandpa Bardock." Bosa pointed them out, giving a massive hint to Goku. "They're Papa's mama and papa." He added with a huge smile.

"Wait, really? So, they're my parents?" Goku, in his shock, had an epiphany. "I… I recognize them…"

"Kakarot, you've grown up so much. I'm so glad that you're safe."

This was one of those moments where Goku struggled to understand his own thoughts and feelings. He didn't quite understand what this feeling was. He ended up letting those emotions take over, and a smile showed. "Mother? And Father?"

Now, Goku wasn't the only one to have woken up so early. And, the others were already starting to wake up. So, they all heard the mumblings of conversation and tears. The first one out was none other than Ushichi…

Ushichi remained stunned silent for a moment, her face welling up with emotions. And just as Goku started to set Bosa down, she charged in, tackling Bosa in a hug. "I MISSED YOU BIG BROTHER BOSA!" Her explosive wails were enough to cause the others to move a little bit quicker. Her tail, wriggled behind her for a little while until she wrapped it around behind Bosa. "Never leave me again!"

"I'm home Ushichi. And I missed you so much."

Soon everyone had found their way into the living room. Bulma, walking over, fast but also holding her expanded belly. She didn't even wait for Ushichi to let go of Bosa, enveloping them both in her arms, not saying a word other than: "Welcome home my darling son, I love you so much."

"I love you too mommy! And I'm home now. King Kai took good care of me. I learned a lot of cool things. And I also met Grandma and Grandpa! I brought them home with me."

Bulma nuzzled Bosa. "I see, that's wonderful news. They'll have to join us in living here. Let's have a feast for your return, my son."

"My big brother is back, and we're having a feast! This is a great day!"

"A feast? Would it be already if I helped prepare it?"

"Huh, no, I've got tons of questions for you. I want to listen to all the stories you hold."

Gine was surprised, but realized that it might be fun to talk with Bulma, and the other ladies. And talk they did.

Bosa and the other kids played their hearts out, and talked about all the cool things they did while Bosa was in the otherworld.

Bardock spent his time sparing with his son. There they talked about what happened. And came to an understanding about what happened with Raditz. Ultimately, they reached the point that it was an unfortunate event, and also one that couldn't ever be forgiven.

It was truly a fortuitous day, filled with joy… A joy that began to mend the cracks in everyone's hearts. Though there was one topic that had yet to be discussed. And the pair of topics were staring right at Gine, she couldn't help but ask about it.

"So, how much longer until those ones arrive?"

Bulma smirked. "We've got about 2 months left before they're due." She paused. "I'm so glad that their big brother has come back to meet them once they are born."

"That's wonderful. I can't wait to see them. If you need anything at all, don't hesitate, I'll do whatever I can to help out."

Chichi smiled, with a sense of a true feeling of thankfulness, and warmth. "Thank you, that really means a lot. Goku has always been busy with his training. But I never minded since the kids seemed to enjoy spending time training with him."

Ushichi, with a big smile on her face, and her tail wriggling around excitedly, crawled up and sat on Gine's lap. "Training with daddy is always fun! And it's even more fun with my big brother!"

"Oh? Aren't you just the cutest!" Gine wrapped Ushichi in a snuggly hug, then whispered some words in her ear.

"REALLY, GRANDMA! REALLY! You mean it!?" The bright look of sheer anticipation was intoxicating.

Gine smiled and wriggled her tail. "That's right, I'll help you out with whatever you need."

"Hmm? What is it?"

"It's a secret, Gohan. I'm not telling!"

"Oh… But, I… Please tell me Ushichi!"

Gine giggled, and hugged Gohan. "Don't worry Gohan, it's a super special secret. From a grandmother to a granddaughter. Hmm, though I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for Chichi to learn of it."

Bosa was similarly confused, just like Gohan. "Gohan, why don't we just give up on learning that secret. It's not like grandma will tell us."

Looking a little disappointed, Gohan frowned. "Oh, fine. If you say so, big brother. But… Can you show us that cool ability again?"

Bosa held his palms out and created a small crystal, then looked to be sweating something fierce. "Wow, that is way harder than it used to be."

Chosho, being the type to be more fascinated with abilities he might be able to learn, and shiny things, shouted. "SO COOL!"

"Here, you can have this, little brother Chosho…"

"Ah… I hope at least one of you has another girl. I feel bad that it's just Ushichi right now."

Bulma giggled, but still opted to keep it a secret. "If we don't, then we can just try again. I don't think Bosa minds having a big family."

Bosa smiled. "Nope! I'll love my brothers and sisters regardless of how many there are! And I'm going to train really hard so none of us end up on the other side too early."
