"The Donquixote Family was notoriously wicked 900 years ago, and it seems their nature hasn't changed a bit! It truly is difficult to alter a person's inherent character!" Hikaru mused, a slight curl to his lips.
Gancho, the leader of the Tontatta, exemplified the gullibility often associated with his race. He hadn't even bothered to verify the claims about Dressrosa, accepting Wyper's words as undeniable truth.
"Oh, yes, indeed, the Donquixote Family is utterly vile. You have no idea the misery Dressrosa suffered under their rampant exploitation."
"Hey! Mr. God, if you ever need our assistance, we Tontatta will never refuse!"
Hikaru raised an eyebrow. Gancho was surprisingly shrewd. Before Hikaru could even begin his persuasive tactics, Gancho was already offering the labor of his entire people.
Wyper chimed in, agreeing heartily, "That's wonderful! It just so happens that the Kingdom of God needs many small hands to help cultivate plants and nurture various Shells. It would be incredibly helpful if the Tontatta could assist with this."
"By the way, have you informed the Tontatta about the whereabouts of the over 500 dwarfs who were deceived and exploited by Doflamingo?" Hikaru subtly shifted the topic, a thought suddenly striking him.
Upon hearing this, Wicca, who had been quietly observing from behind the others, could no longer contain herself. She stepped forward, her voice trembling with tears, "Huh? Where did they go? Are they still alive? And Princess Mansherry, is she alright?"
Wicca's sobs seemed to trigger a collective response. The surrounding Tontatta began to cry or chatter angrily.
Wyper slapped his forehead. "Oh, right! I almost forgot, Mr. Gancho, Captain Leo, the little people who were tricked by Doflamingo a few years ago are now safe and sound. They're diligently working in Dressrosa, helping its people!"
"As for Princess Mansherry..."
Hikaru took over, "Princess Mansherry is currently fulfilling a vital mission in the Kingdom of God. You needn't worry about her. However, she cannot do it all alone, Mr. Gancho. She needs help. If it's convenient, please gather the girls of the Tontatta Tribe to assist and look after her."
"Is that so..." Gancho's eyes filled with determination. Mansherry was his daughter; of course, he wouldn't hesitate to help her. "Help! I absolutely must help! Mr. God, what kind of girls from our clan do you require?" He asked, fearing a need for combat strength.
"The requirements are simple," Hikaru replied. "For a girl, being gentle, kind, and pretty is enough!"
Gancho's eyes lit up. This request was incredibly simple. "That's easy enough! Very easy!" He took a couple of steps forward from Wyper's side, glancing at the figures of the Tontatta girls.
Hearing Hikaru's words, the girls of the Tontatta Tribe eagerly stepped forward, raising their hands, chirping and shouting, "Choose me! Choose me! I'll help Princess Mansherry!"
Hikaru was genuinely touched. These Tontatta girls were so enthusiastic. They might not fully grasp what helping Princess Mansherry entailed, but if they did, they'd be readily fooled into dedicating themselves, wouldn't they? However, he certainly couldn't take all of them. After layers of screening, perhaps only a select few would remain.
After all, who knew if the aesthetic tastes of the Tontatta differed greatly from humans? The Angels would handle the screening for him; he wouldn't need to inspect them one by one. The Angels assigned to these tasks were strictly chosen by him through mind-reading, ensuring no historical mishaps like with Wang Zhaojun from ancient Blue Star.
Gancho seemed momentarily stumped, then patted his head as a good idea struck him. Why not just spread the news? He waved at the crowd and ordered, "Bian, Wicca, Cotton... you three will be in charge of this!"
Wicca quickly wiped away her tears and, along with Bian and Cotton, accepted the order. "Yes! Your Majesty!" they chorused.
Hikaru nodded. With the groundwork laid by Wyper, his plan was progressing far more smoothly than he had anticipated.
"Now that Green Bit Island, where the Tontatta reside, has been incorporated into the Kingdom of God, you no longer need to defend against pirate invasions. If this continues, Mr. Gancho's Tontatta soldiers will likely have nothing to do."
Gancho was taken aback. He hadn't considered this at all. To save face, he stroked his beard and agreed with deep conviction, "Indeed! There's nothing we can do about that. Does Mr. God have any suggestions?"
"Excellent! Wyper!"
Wyper understood, pulling out a handful of Shells with his other hand. "These Shells are a specialty of my Kingdom of God, but I lack skilled cultivators like the Tontatta, so the yield has always been a significant problem for me. I wonder if, Mr. Gancho, you could send more of your Tontatta friends to work for us and cultivate some of these Shells?"
"This..." Gancho fumbled with an Impact Dial, as if trying to feel its "rhythm."
"I'll do it!" Leo shouted, jumping up and grabbing a Flame Dial, immediately beginning to tinker with it. After a moment, Leo happily declared, "No problem! This thing is easy to grow!"
Wyper and Hikaru exchanged glances and began to entice the Tontatta. "Very good! We truly found the right people. Mr. Gancho, Leo, rest assured, all the Tontatta who come to work for my Kingdom of God will have ample food and drink, and even clothes and daily necessities provided for you. These benefits aren't all; you'll also receive a salary! You can buy whatever you wish then!"
"Really!?" The Tontatta were incredibly moved. Leo, as their representative, stepped forward and loudly thanked Hikaru for his generosity.
"Mr. God, Wyper, you two are truly good people! Not only have you given us jobs, but you've also given us food, clothing, and supplies! And we'll even get 'salary'! Although I don't know what salary is, since it's given, it must be a good thing!" Leo exclaimed. "Don't worry, our brothers from the Tontatta Tribe will definitely work diligently! Brothers! Isn't that right?"
"Oh! Of course!" The little people cheered their affirmation.
"What in the world? These little people are all so talented!" Hikaru thought, amused by their peculiar line of reasoning. It seemed he wasn't a "qualified capitalist" and hadn't squeezed their value to the limit. However, he considered himself a qualified ruler, and all his actions had made his rule unbreakable.
As time passed, the Tontatta and the people of the Kingdom of God would grow closer, becoming one family. Sooner or later, they would merge, and that day wouldn't be far off, especially since they were so easily fooled and moved.
