"Song Jihan, wake up"
Somebody was shaking me gently.
"Wake up!"
I opened my eyes with great difficulty. It was as if two heavy stones had been placed on each of my eyelids.
I saw a small child, about five or six years old with my hazy vision.
"Huh? What?" I managed to say these two words to express my surprise.
I was lying on a king-sized bed in a room that looked like it was in the clouds. I could see wisps of white clouds in my room. The floor was completely covered with clouds and I could not see it. The small child, who I was not sure if it was a boy or a girl, was somehow standing on the floor of clouds. The walls of the rooms were pure white. The room did not consist of anything except the walls, my bed and the child...
The fog of my brain cleared and the child spoke again in its sweet voice.
"Are you feeling alright now, Hyung?"
Hyung is only used by younger boys as a honorific to older boys. So he was a boy...
"Ye-es, I'm fine now. I think." I was in fact not sure if I was fine or felt fine in this strange room.
The boy smiled sweetly again. I did not like children, to be honest, but this boy made me have the urge to squish his chubby cheeks.
"Alright, Hyung. You can rest now." His voice was like an authority figure.
Before I could understand anything, he disappeared. He really did.
He disappeared into thin air or went into the floor of clouds. I had no idea what became of him nor did I care.
I was too tired to question why I was in this weird room and why the cute boy disappeared somewhere.
I lied back down on the bed and went back to sleep...
