"Do you see that?" Patrick pointed at one of the chemical reactions listed in the files Lucas had brought from Aslan.
Lucas pursed his lips when he saw what Patrick was referring to, and his heart shook. It was the same step, the same experiment that had led to his demise back on Earth.
Why is he reminding me of my nightmare? Is this his breakthrough?
"Yeah, what about it?" Lucas kept calm, not showing any change in his expression.
Although Patrick was not as astute as Vance or Ryker, focusing mainly on his research and disregarding everything else, he still decided to be cautious around him.
"I think this should be our approach."
"What do you mean?" Lucas frowned in confusion. He couldn't quite fathom what Patrick was trying to convey.
"See, according to notes written after these steps, it says that humans will become stronger. It hasn't mentioned to what percentage the strength will increase. I want to test it out first."
