Hamar woke up, and as he fluttered his eyes open he stumbled up. The train was moving at high speeds and he couldn't see the world outside as it blurred into a mess.
He rubbed his eyes and looked around the train carriage, "Hou, you got any idea?"
Hou spoke quietly, "It did say it was going to Elder Future Stillness...I'd believe that he saw your coming and changed the train to make you to come to him. I say just wait."
Hamar nodded and carefully started to walk through the carriage. He held onto metal bars and stared at the floating seats. Kicking a seat nearby, he saw it stabilise itself.
"Not attaching it to the train so despite any uneven-ness it won't be uncomfortable?" Hamar nodded and looked up to a glowing display on the ceiling.
'Next Stop: Elder Future Stillness. Approximated time: 5 minutes.'
"Five minutes huh?" Hamar chose to sit down on one of the isolated seats and cross his legs. He closed his eyes to rid himself of distractions and took a deep breath in.
"Hou, this place has a higher concentration of mana...do you think this has anything to do with Yi Sect? Noone else should know about mana, just you and Yi Sect?"
"And yourself...and my Master...It's hard to tell. My intuition isn't saying so but there's always the possibility. Though for now, the Elder doesn't seem to have any I'll intent."
Hamar stuck his hand into his pocket and took out the mana pen that he was given by 'Troy'. He twirled it a few times before crushing it in his hands.
The mana inside, as a flowing liquid, dripped into Hamar's open palm and begun evaporating. Hamar inhaled the vapours and controlled his skin, letting in the mana.
As he did, he used his aura method to transform mana into aura. The blue substance got absorbed and split into two separate forms.
One portion became a colourless water that formed into a large blob in Hamar's dantian. The other half shifted colours and turned into a golden energy that made its way through Hamar's body and into a mark in between his eyebrows.
There, on his glabella, his 'royal authority' suppressed scales which had started to form on Hamar's skin. He breathed out a sigh of relief, "That draconic form from taking in your death dragon body still occurs even after reformation..."
Hou made a thinking noise, "hmm" and came up with a thought, "Well maybe that's not something bad. The death dragon body had an affinity towards death laws, death and luck especially. Perhaps since you've been suppressing it you've not really used it to its full potential. You should still have some abilities you could use with that form."
Hamar rubbed his temples, "Another form...I have my normal form, you can take over, Yin-Yang Reversal state, Draconic transformation now. Maybe I could somehow bring together the Draconic form and the Yin-Yang Reversal State?"
"Possible...the death dragon you've become entangled with is a Yin type creature...if you gain a Yang type creature and absorb that into your body...that should balance out which would make it compatible with the Yin-Yang Reversal form." Hou gave his ruminations to Hamar.
"Hmm, that sounds... doable. But dangerous too. To absorb a Yang creature of the same strength as the death dragon...the only reason I could absorb the death dragon was because of Yi Sect, without them I would need to do it myself."
"Theoretically it should be the same idea as your body reformation. You should just need to comprehend the laws, and use your aura to replace the creature while moving it into your body; which and already become made entirely of your aura."
Hamar nodded, "And with the royal authority I have...I should be able to get a creature stronger than myself to cooperate. But to do it long enough to assimilate I need more authority than I have."
Hou extrapolated, "And for that you need more mana to absorb. It seems it all goes back to mana, as long as Elder Future Stillness can help you and give you an appropriate place to gather mana, you might be able to get strong enough to help fight Yi Sect in time."
Hamar opened his eyes and stood up, "There's only another minute to go!" He cracked his neck and laid out his plan.
"Go to the Elder! Proclaim my authority as another Elder's disciple! Ascertain his allegiance, ask about that miasma butler (my gut still feels I missed something), ask why he knows about mana unlike everyone else! Ask for help if he is good! Absorb mana, create aura, find a Yang Creature, subdue with royal authority, absorb, become strong enough to contend with Yi Sect!"
Hamar proclaimed his plan on how to proceed then folded, "Now to simply hope all goes well. Then when Yi Sect is defeated, I'll bring you back to your main body, Hou."
Hou chuckled, "Thanks, but don't forget about yourself. You need to think what you want to do, once I'm saved."
Hamar smiled, "I think..." He held his hand outstretched and summoned his time pool sword soul, "I think I'll just...I'll just live my life swinging my sword."
As he stared melancholically, he felt a jerk as he jolted into the wall. The train stopped moving suddenly and Hamar steadied himself on the wall beside him.
He unsumonned his sword soul and walked to the doors of the train carriage, waiting for them to open. While waiting, he peered outside the window to his location.
It was a dark alleyway, at the end of which was a small stall. Brightly coloured neon lights surround it, and inside a warm orange light hummed.
The doors suddenly bolted down and Hamar stepped off the platform, feeling the rushing wind behind him as the train sped away.
He looked back at the rails before turning back and walking forward, towards the stall. A few metres away from the entrance he put his hands together and bowed lightly, "Core Disciple of Elder Nine Clouds Purple Miasma, wishes to meet with Elder Nine Clouds Future Stillness!"
