Chapter 105 - chapter 104

"This is Freedom Haven. We'll get to the inheritance but first let's have a small break. Let's disguise ourselves first so we can freely do things."

"How do we disguise ourselves?"

"Just follow me, I know a place"

Mo Huai started to walk outwards of the large circular plaza. It was completely paved with light grey stones and darker grey paths, he started following one path leading outwards. After a while, they got to the end of the circular landing plaza, marked by a black glass boundary, entering the first domain of large and unique buildings.

However, amongst the large buildings and structures, there was a small humble hut. Mo Huai pointed at the small hut and said,

"That is where we need to go, I know the owner. Just follow me for now, don't get lost."

Mo Huai walked over to the building and knocked on the door. It was a small shack, only large enough for a single sleeping room. The outside was humble, made of simple wooden logs with little decorations. The door creaked and opened up, from inside a voice spoke,

"Come in you rascal!"

Mo Huai looked back at Hou and nodded, he then took a step into the small house. The shack was quite small and Mo Huai needed to duck under the doorframe. Hou watched as Mo Huai disappeared in the darkness and sighed. Then he started to walk to the hut and opened the door more, seeing the dark void ahead. He took a deep breath and jumped in, not looking back.

In the darkness, Hou could not see anything, he just walked forward and his shoes made a loud clacking sound of the stone floor, echoing through the long and cold corridor. He seemed to walk much further than the house would allow.

'It just seems to go on and on...'

Then as Hou was walking in the darkness, following Mo Huai's steps he saw a light at the end of the tunnel. As Hou approached the light, his surrounding brightened up and he could see he was in some sort of cave. The walls were natural stone formations, and there was dripping water from the ceiling.

Hou stepped out of the corridor and saw Mo Huai waiting for him ahead. He jogged a little and caught up to him, saying,

"How is it so large?!"

"Its bigger on the inside, or perhaps we were only seeing a portion? Think of your own guess."

Mo Huai chuckled and turned around, leaving Hou to think freely. He turned a corner of the cave and entered a completely different room than the cave they were in previous.

The natural stone morphed into a carved stone wall with decorative markings. On the floor, a bright patterned rug and a warm light emitted from candles and fire. Then in the centre a dark wooden desk halved the room. Behind the desk a whole arrangement of different draws and spools of fabric laid on one wall.

Also behind the desk was an old woman, she wore a scarf over her head and was cutting some fabric when they stepped in. She looked up and rolled her eyes,

"You again...what this time?"

"No welcoming?" Mo Huai slyly responded.

"Not for you! The Sect leader already punished me for helping you...anyway, it seems you've changed, your aura is quite the difference."

"Yes. All because of your help I've now grown, it was all through your help I'm now an Elder. Thank you" Mo Huai bowed and put his fists together.

The old women waved her hands and coughed,

"No use flattering me, introduce me to your little friend there" she waved a pencil at Hou.

"This is my disciple, Hou Zhigong"

The old woman squinted and looked at Hou. She then pulled up her glasses and put them on, once against scrutinising Hou.

"Come over here boy" the old woman ordered Hou to come closer.

As Hou walked closer the woman somehow became even more confused. She sat up and grabbed Hou's hands with her own, she then looked up,

"Do you want to be my disciple?"

"No thank you, I am Mo Huai's disciple" Hou retracted his hands and bowed slightly.

The old woman let out a huff and fell back onto her chair.

Mo Huai saw this interaction and asked the old woman,

"Why do you want to steal my disciple, you barely helped me when I wanted you to?"

"That physique, I'm sure you can feel it. It's highly compatible with my transformation Dao. This old woman's eyes haven't gone senile yet, he has potential perhaps higher than your very own."

"Yes, I too see that. Well firstly, I'd like to ask you for a favour. We were wanting to explore the city so we'd like a sort of disguise"

"I can do one...but I'd like the kid to let me test out the physique. If that's a no, then leave!"

Hou watched as the two quarrelled and butted in,

"I'm fine with that, but...who are you? Nobody actually told me?"

The woman laughed and coughed, slapping her thighs. Once she settled down she turned to Hou and told him,

"I am just an old woman, pay no attention to me. Call me Huan Die. You want a disguise, I can give you one."

"Thank you, Huan Die!" Hou bowed and put his fists together while smiling.

"First though, let me look at your physique. Hold out your hand and relinquish control over it. Let me do what I need to."

Hou thought for a second intuitively consulting Yue and then pulled out his hand and laid it for Huan Die to see. She grabbed the wrist and started to look at the skin, poking at it. She then took out a piece of fabric and put it over his hand.

Instantly, the hand disappeared. It was completely invisible, the table underneath now fully visible. She saw this and threw the fabric off, revealing Hou's hand again. She stood up and rushed to the back of the room, where there was a huge wall of draws and rolls of fabric. She looked around and opened a draw, pulling out a small box.

Huan Die brought the small box over to Hou and sat back down. She robbed the box, and opened it up, inside there were needles if different colours. She picked up one needle and with her finger carefully manipulated Hou's arm. Once she found a specific point, she flicked the needle into the skin.

The needle pierced easily and didn't encounter any resistance, near instantly Hou's arm started changing. The skin started to bubble and then in a fantastic burst, small multicoloured spiders crawled out of Hou's skin, like pieces of the night they were speckles with stardust. The inside of Hou's body was like a void from his new physique, the spiders forming from seemingly nothing.

His blood was fused with Celestial Ink when it was made, this was the cause of Hou's galaxy look with his pale skin. Also due to this, the laws applied on the blood was amplified.

The needle was infused with various laws, including spider and others. This was a transformation path treasure, Huan Die hard made. Normally It would only create one spider but because of Hou's Celestial Law Amplifying Physique, the effect was multiplied.

With only the mental energy Huan Die had used when applying the needle, dozens of space-celestial spiders crawled out of Hou's hand!
