The vampire-looking spirit murmured without stopping as its cold whispers echoed throughout the tomb. The apparitions circled Lucy as if they followed the commands of the vampiric spirit.
Lucy felt her blood moving on its own as if some force were acting on it. She used her cursed energy to resist the feeling, controlling herself.
"Magic really makes a difference. If you think there is strength in numbers. I think you know we are in a tomb."
Lucy's cursed energy burst, and a few skeletons emerged from the soil along with some half-decomposed bodies.
With her monstrous grasp on cursed energy, Lucy created cursed corpses.
The skeletons and zombies attacked the wraiths.
Now, it's just Lucy and a Vampiric cursed spirit facing each other.
Although Lucy found no interest in the being.
As if it grasped the lack of interest in Lucy, the Vampiric cursed spirit released blood projectiles.
Most of them hit a metal cube that appeared in mid-air. Leaving dents on it.
Lucy, on the other hand, observed the battle between wraiths and her army of skeletons and zombies.
The wraiths destroyed the zombies, but the skeletons, on the other hand, reorganized themselves even when they were destroyed.
"You guys are not bad. Now, cursed technique reversal: contractual binding "
The 38 skeletons vanished as they transformed into a Paper slip.
"Now, I will purify you."
Lucy released positive energy, shooting them like bolts towards the Vampiric cursed spirit and other apparitions.
They all got vaporized on the spot.

When Lucy mentally accepted the reward, Lucy felt an increase in cursed energy. As well as slight mental abilities like keeping the head calm and analyzing.

Going through the memories of Abel related to Magic. She knew she could cast some basic magic, but she didn't have knowledge of how to cast the spells.
"But, there's a telepathy basic spell. Not bad, the shapeshifting spell is useless, but the teleportation, lock-opening, and sleep-inducing spells are handy. I must get them, before that..."
Lucy found a broken branch and channeled her magic into that branch. It converted into a wand filled with her unique magic.
"But, it's strange. It seems the leveling system is taking me through a particular path of powers."
Having the analytical mind of Captain Carter and the Reggie star. Not to mention, she now has memories of a mage who is a puppet master.
She can feel a weird sense of Doubt or suspicion.
At first, she thought the draws were random. Captain Carter and Jacob black are people with physical abilities. If it happened once, it's a coincidence. But now, she has Reggie Star and Abel Walker, who are both magic users with somewhat compatible powers. Like forming contracts and controlling puppets.
"Am I overthinking this? No, I can only confirm this if it happens again at Level 3. Also, the missions in Level 1 are slightly milder compared to Level 0, where the missions are somewhat extreme. What's up with that? "

Many cities, villages, and mountains passed through her vision, yet she felt no excitement.

Between her legs, a broom formed from her flesh. Of course, it is connected to Lucy. She merely wants to feel the same way a witch does.
Before long, a wave of darkness covered her eyes, blocking everything in her sight.
She didn't realise it, but she flew to Japan.
Landing over the nearest barrier. Lucy observed that cursed spirits are occupying the barrier like a swarm of locusts.
She flew to one of the barriers, especially where she sensed a familiar cursed energy.
As soon as she entered the barrier. A shikigami with a skull mask appeared.
"Yo! I'm kogane."
"Upon entering the colony, you'll become a player. Do you still wish to continue and become a player of culling games? "
Kogane asked in Japanese, Lucy understood the meaning from learning Japanese from Reggie's memories.

Lucy noticed that she couldn't read the memories of the shikigami.
' I also couldn't influence the vampire-cursed spirit. Is it because they are a chaotic mass of negative emotions? But then again, I never tried to 'influence' them'
Lucy isn't surprised by her presence in Japan, but by her speed. She was here in a matter of hours.

Reggie Star, who had reincarnated, saw a figure flying towards him. He could sense the terrifying presence, but what bothered him was the cursed energy. It felt exactly like his.

Reggie summoned a two-story house, dropping it on her.
To his horror, Lucy lifted the house with one hand. She threw it on him.
Reggie tried to run away when the house hit the ground. The house exploded, causing the debris to fly in all directions.
Reggie managed to escape with bruises. Throughout all this, he kept his eyes on Lucy, who did not move an inch.
Reggie summoned multiple knives, this time controlling them like a shikigami. He vanished from the spot.
"Huh? That's surprising."
Reggie appeared behind Lucy and tried to slash her head off.
To his surprise, she caught him with a third hand that appeared out of nowhere. And her grip is overwhelmingly strong.
"You lost the battle the moment I decided to fight you. Marrioness change"
Reggie transformed into a puppet as thin strings from Lucy's hand appeared.
'Cursed energy can't resist the magic, but there's still the factor of will. Someone with strong willpower can turn back into a human. I'm afraid some reincarnated sorcerers can easily cancel marionnese change.'
Lucy began absorbing the cursed energy of Reggie Star with Puppet magic.
To her surprise....

'right... Reggie is a reincarnated player, he's possessing the body of an innocent person. So, when I absorbed his cursed energy. The cursed object inside the body is what I have absorbed. So, that leaves the original owner intact. In a way, I exorcised him.... This can be a useful chip.'
A projectile is launched towards the innocent man, but Lucy caught the projectile before it can harm the man.
Smoke rose from Lucy's hand that caught the projectile.
