Julissa looked at Xia jinjin and the little rascal, and managed to grasp most of the situation.
While still sobbing, Xia Jinjin explained, "He and I are from the same hometown. We were middle school classmates, that's it."
The little rascal seemed to have taken quite a blow from this.
Julissa asked, "You're in love with her, aren't you?"
The young rogue's face became even uglier. He lowered his head and said, "Yes, I like her, I want to protect her."
"And so you thought to protect her by trying to scar my face?"
Julissa looked at him half-smiling and said, "Such a specific action, I bet a big man like you couldn't have thought of it, right?"
The young rogue instinctively glanced at Xia Jinjin.
Immediately, Xia Jinjin became infuriated, shouting, "What do you mean by that? Are you suspecting that I'm behind this?"
Julissa shrugged, "I didn't say that."
