"Norin!"

"Norin!"

Seeing Norin approach, the three girls stood up and greeted him, each with a smile on their face.

"Kate, Anna, Clarice, how are you today?"

Norin greeted the three of them, also with a smile on his face.

Clarice frowned slightly. She felt something was off about Norin today. He didn't usually greet them like this. Even when the little rascal was around, it didn't feel this unfamiliar.

But when she looked closely, it was still Norin's face.

Wait!

That faint golden light.

And that strange scent.

Although this Norin looked the same, his aura was completely different.

"You're not Norin!"

Clarice's face changed drastically.

Katie and Little Naughty also noticed something unusual. When they heard Clarice's words, they immediately reacted and prepared for battle.

Norin was stunned. He didn't understand the situation. Wasn't it just a greeting?

This was the first time she encountered such a scenario, and she was exposed as soon as they met. This wasn't supposed to happen!

"Are you mistaken? I am Norin."

"Look at my appearance, my voice, my movements…"

"Don't try to lie! Your scent and your aura are nothing like Norin! They're all wrong!"

Realizing her disguise had been discovered, Norin stopped pretending. Her skin color quickly shifted back to her true form—Mystique.

"My disguise has never failed before. Can you tell me why it did this time?"

Mystique was curious. Although her mutant abilities weren't the strongest, they were incredibly practical.

She had used this trick to impersonate countless high-ranking officials and dignitaries. Unless machines detected mutant genes, there was no way she could be exposed.

No matter who she turned into, she could perfectly mimic their voice, appearance, and even fingerprints.

Yet, this mission, which she thought would be simple, was foiled by three young girls. It was a blow to her confidence.

But it didn't matter. So what if they found out? How could three untrained girls stand a chance against her, a seasoned fighter?

If she hadn't been afraid of attracting Charles's attention, she wouldn't have needed to disguise herself as Norin, the closest to the three, to deceive them.

The three girls didn't answer Mystique's question. Instead, they warned her, "If I were you, I'd leave now. Norin will be here soon! When he arrives, you won't be able to escape."

"Really? Let's see who gets to you first—him or me…"

"Oh? Try it."

Before Mystique could finish, a teasing voice came from behind her.

Her face turned pale, and she instinctively elbowed backward.

Norin simply raised his hand and caught her forearm with precision. Mystique reacted quickly, turning around and aiming a kick at his groin. Her move was fast, accurate, and ruthless, showing she had used it many times before.

But Norin was faster. He grabbed her ankle with his other hand, his grip so strong that Mystique couldn't break free.

"Damn it!"

Mystique cursed inwardly. Using her captured ankle as a pivot, she spun 180 degrees in the air, trying to force Norin back with her other foot.

"A trifle."

Norin chuckled and appeared behind Mystique as if teleporting. With one hand, he pinned both of her arms behind her back at a speed she couldn't react to. His other hand grabbed her hair and forced her head up.

"Resistance is futile. Come with me. Do you believe I'll beat you up on the spot if you keep resisting?"

Mystique was stunned at first, instinctively obeying his command. But she quickly realized—had she been taken down so easily? And why did her body instinctively follow Norin's words?

She felt a deep sense of humiliation, but Norin's grip was like an iron clamp. The difference in strength and speed left her powerless to fight back.

Though she was caught, Mystique felt something strange in her body. That feeling… How could it be possible? She couldn't believe a mere close combat could trigger such a reaction.

Unheard of!

But when she looked at Norin, she suddenly understood why her disguise had failed. There was no one like Norin to impersonate.

The aura he exuded, his piercing eyes, that golden light… they were all unique.

Soon, Mystique was taken into custody by Norin and brought before a shocked Charles.

"I'll leave the questioning to you."

After saying that, Norin let go of Mystique and left with the unconscious Jean in his arms. He didn't care what Mystique and Charles would discuss. He had more important things to do.

Ahem, of course, he wasn't taking advantage of the situation. He was genuinely worried that if he delayed, the Black Phoenix might break free from its restraints tomorrow.

After obtaining the power of the Phoenix, Norin's strength had increased unprecedentedly. Neither the world of the boys nor the DC's Flash universe posed a threat anymore.

In that case, his previous plans needed to be put on hold. He would solve the Kryptonian problem first, then use Kryptonian technology to develop power in the world of the boys and study genetic engineering along the way.

In the Marvel and DC universes, Norin still needed to survive. But in the black robe world… he was the real ancestor!

It was another beautiful day.

Especially for the people in New York, today was a crazy day. Homelander and Queen Maeve from the Super Seven had come to Times Square.

The two were attending a promotional event arranged by their company. On one hand, it was to connect with the people, gather votes, and increase their presence.

On the other hand, it was to advertise for their sponsors.

In the boys universe, The Seven were world-class superstars. Even the least popular member far outshone Hollywood celebrities. They truly possessed superpowers and were seen as heroes of justice, God's favorites.

If they wanted, countless entertainment companies would invite them to star in movies.

Publishers would line up to collaborate on their biographies. Just a scandal with one of them could generate massive attention.

This was The Boys universe

This was the superhero's Garden of Eden.

---

If the mutants and Inhumans next door saw this, they would definitely shed tears of envy. The treatment of both sides is like heaven and hell—there's no comparison at all.

On the stage, Homelander and Queen Maeve smiled and accepted the cheers and photos from the crowd.

Behind them was a giant superhero billboard. Homelander and Queen Maeve took up half of the space, while the other half was filled with the products they endorsed.

Off the stage, Norin mingled in the crowd. Seeing the obviously fake, kind smiles of Homelander, he was a bit helpless.

This world was undoubtedly a world that looks bright on the surface but is actually extremely dark. The whole world is shrouded in a glamorous disguise.

The people cheer and applaud their heroes of justice, but these superheroes, with blood on their hands, often kill innocent people in secret.

From the memories obtained from the brain of a passerby Norin knew that the world of The Boys was currently in the early stages of the official plot.

Since Lamplighter left the team and disappeared, The Seven was still missing one member, and Vought Corporation was searching the world for a suitable candidate.

Although Vought had conducted experiments injecting Compound V into many babies, finding the right candidate wasn't easy.

Each member of the Super Seven had political significance. Take A-Train, for example—he was there to win the votes of Black people and secure their support.

As for The Deep, he joined the team for diversity and to show support for environmental and marine protection. His inclusion was purely for political correctness.

Black Noir was a qualified assassin and the company's black glove, carrying out shameful tasks without question or hesitation.

As for Homelander and Queen Maeve, they were undoubtedly the powerhouses of the Super Seven. They were among the most powerful heroes, and their strength was unquestionable. They also had the highest approval ratings among the Super Seven.

As for Translucent? No need to talk about him.

Norin, who had seen the original series knew very well that the one who replaced Lamplighter in the team was Starlight, a girl with a heroic dream of saving the world.

Vought, purely to gain the attention of female audiences, designed a rather revealing uniform for her to attract male support.

However, as soon as she joined the team, Starlight suffered a critical blow, and her dream of becoming a hero was shattered.

Looking at the entire world of The Boys, almost everyone was a villain. Truly good people were rare.

Starlight counted as one, and A-Train's brother counted as one, but who else? Norin couldn't think of anyone.

The original protagonist, Hughie, wasn't a good guy either. Butcher, who represented justice and resisted the evil of superheroes, was nothing more than a selfish villain.

Good people? In this world, they were rare. Perhaps this world just proved the saying: Good people don't live long, but evil deeds last for thousands of years.

However, with Norin's arrival, the trajectory of this world would take a different path.

After watching the stage for a while, Norin turned and walked toward the New York headquarters of Vought Corporation.

On the stage, Queen Maeve, who had been smiling, noticed Norin's back and felt a strange sense of confusion. Among the crowd, only Norin had left temporarily, and he had a fatal attraction.

"What are you looking at?" Homelander noticed Queen Maeve's distraction and asked.

"Nothing," Queen Maeve quickly shook her head. She didn't dare tell the truth. Given Homelander's temperament, if he knew she was looking at another man, he would turn around and crush him into pieces.

They were publicly seen as a couple at the moment. No matter the reason, Homelander wouldn't allow Queen Maeve to show interest in anyone else—it would be an insult to him. If this got out, he would lose face.

"Really? Pay attention. We still have a lot to do," Homelander raised his eyebrows slightly, as if he had noticed something. He remained expressionless on the surface, but while smiling, his eyes glanced in the direction Queen Maeve had been looking.

A man…
