To this new world they granted a divine gift: the blessing of life.
Sun-Lord devoted his radiant energy to nurturing and sustaining life beneath the warm rays of day, while Moon-Lord embraced and protected creatures beneath the sheltering mantle of the starry night. For eons, life flourished. Plants, beasts, and seas danced in harmony with perfect balance. Satisfied with their creation, the gods withdrew into celestial silence, allowing time to flow like an eternal river.
However, their rest was interrupted by the appearance of a peculiar creature: the human being. This new entity, as restless as it was ambitious, possessed a perplexing nature. Often, its insatiable desire to obtain more led it to disturb the balance of the world. Curious and unsettled, the gods observed this new creation closely. Soon, they noticed a detail that disturbed the peace in their hearts: humans fervently worshiped the sun, yet almost entirely ignored the moon.
Moon-Lord, until then serene, began to be consumed by a dark feeling. Envy blossomed within his spirit, and in his chest grew a longing to be equally revered. Driven by this desire, he made a drastic decision: he created four angels with a single purpose—to overthrow Sun-Lord and claim complete control of the planet. But Sun-Lord, foreseeing the betrayal, also created four angels, destined to preserve balance and protect life from the coming darkness.
Thus began a titanic conflict in which the heavens burned and the earth trembled beneath the clash of colossal forces. The war was long, but in the end Sun-Lord prevailed. Defeated, Moon-Lord was banished to a distant dimension, sealed in eternal oblivion. The four angels who had fought at his side were forgiven, though with one condition: if Moon-Lord were ever to return, they must face their former creator to defend the balance. Satisfied, Sun-Lord chose to withdraw from the world, entrusting the living beings with the guardianship of the Earth.
A thousand millennia passed, and peace seemed to weave itself deeply into the foundations of the cosmos. The angels, celestial guardians, descended from their ethereal abodes to marvel at the creatures of the Earth. Some wandered alone, others together, observing humans and their mysterious rituals.
It was during one of these journeys that Ignis, the angel of blazing fire, and Glacies, the angel of eternal frost, stopped in fascination before a peculiar phenomenon. They watched as humans united not only in body, but also in soul, forging a bond they called love. This enigmatic feeling awakened in them an insatiable curiosity.
Together, Ignis and Glacies embarked on a search to uncover the origin of such a strange connection. Yet instead of answers, their study led them to experience what they had never imagined: through furtive glances and shared moments, love blossomed between them. For them, time became a distant whisper, meaningless before the intensity of their emotions.
However, their union was a taboo, a secret they concealed from the other angels. For eons they managed to keep their love hidden, until from that forbidden passion was born Flumen, the angel of crystal waters. But with his arrival, celestial harmony collapsed. The balance of the planet began to fracture, bending beneath the weight of his existence.
It was then that magic awakened from its slumber. During the nights, grotesque monsters began to emerge, spreading terror among living creatures. Trees gained consciousness, tearing themselves from the earth to wander as guardians of the forest. Animals evolved, rising onto two legs and forming societies with human traits. New humanoid races appeared, founding cities and territories overflowing with wonders and dangers. Thus, the planet ceased to be what it once was, transforming into a world as beautiful as it was chaotic.
As punishment for breaking the balance, the nine angels were cast down to Earth and transformed into precious stones, known as Seiseki or sacred stones. Each of them contained an incomprehensible power, a divine remnant of the gods' energy.
According to legend, whoever gathers these stones will inherit the legacy of protecting the Earth on the day Moon-Lord returns to reclaim his place.
Thus was born the prophecy of the Divine Guard, a group of warriors chosen by fate, destined to preserve the balance of the world. Their mission will be to confront the shadows of the past and ensure that peace and light prevail, even in the darkest times.
