Xiao Jinsheng hurried downstairs and saw Chen Yunji and Xuan Jiu fighting in the living room.
One was pulling on the other's dragon horns, and the other was tugging on the other's fox ears.
Neither would let go.
"I want to be the eighth, what's it to you!" Xuan Jiu said angrily.
"It's something," Chen Yunji replied coldly.
"Fine, tell me how it concerns you. You're not Jinsheng's Beast Husband, so how does my being her eighth concern you at all?" Xuan Jiu said, before lifting his foot to give Chen Yunji a heavy kick.
Chen Yunji sidestepped to avoid it, frowning without answering.
Even though he couldn't quite explain why.
But he just felt that Xuan Jiu couldn't be Xiao Jinsheng's eighth Beast Husband.
If anyone should be the eighth, it should be him!
No reason, just intuition.
"Are they fighting over this?" Xiao Jinsheng asked Li, having heard the two argue.
"Yes," Li nodded with a smile.
Li was enjoying the sight of Xuan Jiu and Chen Yunji fighting.
