"You need to tell your parents first."
Felix's voice was oddly calm. So calm that he was even a bit surprised himself. Perhaps it was because he was already so used to things not going his way, but his emotions had all fizzled out as he had been waiting for Kade, and now he had reached the stage of acceptance. Whatever was going to happen, was going to happen. He'd find a way to deal with it.
But Kade wasn't so calm about it. He scowled, muttering under his nose with displeasure, "It's not like he has any proof."
That was true, but…
"He would be able to prove it, if he really wanted to," Felix pointed out.
