Mrs Pamela Hodgkinson and her eldest son, Peter Hodgkinson, stood in silence for a couple of minutes. They could not make sense of the situation involving the two elder Hodgkinsons. It was the first time they had faced anything of this kind. Although bewildered, they both decided to head to the office first and check the situation later. Neither of them thought to review the surveillance cameras surrounding the estate.
It took them nearly twenty minutes to reach the office. As usual, other employees were entering the building. They too went to their respective rooms.
After settling in, both mother and son tried to call the missing Hodgkinsons, but to no avail. Unbeknownst to them, a storm was brewing within Wigan's business circle.
