Getting to the back, Lilith looked around for guards, and just as Ava had said, there were barely any stationed around the backyard. The few that passed paid no attention to the area, giving her the courage to start walking out. She had only taken three steps when Ava appeared beside her and whispered, "Be natural." Lilith gave a slight nod and forced a smile onto her face.
When they reached the gates, Ava grabbed her wrist to stop her from going further and stepped forward to address the guards stationed there.
"What could bring the Lady of the North here?" One of the guards asked with a cheerful smile. 'Lady of the North?' Lilith thought. Could Ava be someone of importance? Judging by the guard's expression, they seemed quite familiar with her.
