The moment the screen went black, Crocodile bit clean through the cigar in his mouth. Right now, he was seething with rage, itching to fly straight to Nanohana and slaughter every last member of the Yorozuya Pirate Crew.
Still, what Su Xiaoqi had said about "that thing" had caught his attention. After all, everything he had done in recent years had been for one goal: seizing the ancient weapon of Alabasta—Pluton.
"Miss All Sunday, we're going to the royal capital," Crocodile ordered coldly. "No matter what they're after, what I want must not fall into anyone else's hands."
Robin gave a faint smile. "I suppose I don't have the right to refuse, do I? Besides... I'm curious to meet that strange bunch myself."
She didn't know why they had deliberately brought her up—was it because of her bounty? Or were they, like Crocodile, trying to use her to achieve some goal?
But none of that mattered anymore. After years of running and betrayal, Robin had grown weary—almost too tired to care whether she lived or died.
Meanwhile, in Rainbase, Nami's group was lying low. Ever since the fake 'Nami' appeared in Nanohana, they had become the target of every angry citizen in town.
Sakata Gintoki growled with frustration, "Damn that Su Xiaoqi! Pulling something this fun without inviting Gin-san? He's not getting away with this!"
Sanji, equally furious, added, "And to think that guy held Princess Vivi in his arms, right in public... damn it, I'm dying of envy!"
"You two idiots..." Zoro muttered, utterly unimpressed. They were seriously invoking that name in front of Nami? Were they trying to die?

Usopp, Zoro, Kaya, and Tashigi looked down at the two foaming idiots on the ground, then shook their heads so hard they nearly passed out themselves. The more Nami smiled, the more terrifying she became.

Chopper's paw, holding food, trembled. Kaito flinched. Zhu Zhuqing and Vivi both looked toward Su Xiaoqi.
Meeting their eyes, Su Xiaoqi shrugged nonchalantly. "No big deal. If she tries anything, we'll just take her to Marine Headquarters next time. Let her enjoy life as a future Yonko."

Everyone drew in a cold breath. The grudge between Su Xiaoqi and Nami... just how deep did it run?
Lu Linglong asked, "Aren't you worried she might actually get captured by the Marines?"
Su Xiaoqi grinned. "If she does, that'll probably trigger a mission. Then we just rescue her and earn some points."
Lu Linglong and Kaito stared wide-eyed. Su Xiaoqi had every angle covered—not only screwing Nami over but also farming her for profit.
Zhu Zhuqing frowned. "And if no mission triggers?"
Su Xiaoqi chuckled. "You think she's that easy to capture? Even if the Marines get her and no mission triggers, I'll just sell her some escape skills. Impel Down won't be able to hold her."
Zhu Zhuqing nodded. Among the skills she got from her last draw, a few were indeed escape-based.
After the meal, Su Xiaoqi headed off alone for some training. Vivi arranged rooms for the others, then found Zhu Zhuqing for a private talk.
The two girls chatted for a long time. By the time Su Xiaoqi returned from training, Vivi finally left the room.
"She's a good person," Zhu Zhuqing said suddenly.
Su Xiaoqi blinked. "Huh? Vivi's always been nice, hasn't she?"
Zhu Zhuqing rolled her eyes. "Think about it yourself. Now go shower and get some sleep."
The next day, midday.
While the group was having lunch, a soldier burst in with urgent news—the Straw Hats had arrived, and so had Crocodile and his entire Baroque Works gang.
The two groups were now facing off outside the palace gates.
Su Xiaoqi shoved the rest of his food into his mouth, then turned to the others with a grin:
"Vivi, I'll need you to play the hostage again."
"Linglong, go wild. If you can push Nami to the point where she transforms, I'll write you your own script after this mission."
"Kurumi, do what you want with the Baroque Works people."
"Zhuqing, Chopper, Kaito—you three handle yourselves."
"Alright everyone, this is our final act in Alabasta. Let's give it everything we've got."
"Now, let us go welcome the great Captain Nami of the Yorozuya Pirates!"
