As appear from title this is the explanation of the differences between the types of werewolves mentioned in the story. There are three types of werewolves in the story: Evolved Werewolves, Original Werewolves, and Traditional Werewolves. The differences are as follows:
1. Traditional Werewolves
They are the weakest type of werewolves. They cannot control their transformations and can only transform during a full moon. Their transformed form is a complete wolf, but much stronger and faster than ordinary wolves. They usually transform into the same size and shape as the Dire Wolf (Aenocyon dirus).
2. Original Werewolves
They are the original lineage of all werewolves, the first werewolves in history. They cannot control their transformations like the evolved werewolves, but they possess unique and special abilities that set them apart from the others. During a full moon, they transform into a full wolf form, but much larger, ranging in size from tigers and lions to some that are as massive as polar bears or grizzly bears. When transformed, their special abilities grow and become more lethal. They are considered the strongest type of werewolves, with their only weakness being that they cannot control their transformations and are at their peak power only during a full moon. There are only seven packs of original werewolves in the world.
3. Evolved Werewolves
These are ordinary werewolves that evolved due to specific circumstances. Vampires were hunting them and pushing them toward extinction, forcing them to evolve for survival. This evolution was aided by the Nemeton Tree and other factors that will be revealed later. Evolved werewolves have three ranks: Alpha, Beta, and Omega.
Unlike traditional werewolves, the more members in their pack, the stronger and faster they become. Their defining feature is that they can control their transformations and transform whenever they want. The full moon does not control them; it only boosts their power. Their transformation is different from the others: they do not become full wolves but instead become a hybrid between a wolf and a human, retaining their human appearance with protruding fangs and claws, thick fur on their bodies, and changing eye colors.
They are stronger than traditional werewolves when fully transformed. They do not have the special abilities of original werewolves, but they have limitless potential for growth and massive development possibilities compared to other werewolves. Their eye glow also indicates social status:
Golden yellow indicates the evolved werewolf is a Beta or Omega.
Red indicates an Alpha.
Blue does not indicate social status; it appears if the werewolf kills an innocent soul, changing the eyes from golden yellow to sky blue, absorbing part of the soul and replacing it with permanent darkness.
