Chapter 195 - Chapter 195: I'm About to Pull Off a Kill Across Six Lostbelts and Two Singularities.

"It seems you recognize me, but as a servant, you shouldn't be someone born in the Land of Faerie..."

Under Morgan's rule, humans were mere possessions of the fairies. Yet Jiang You felt entirely different from those kept as pets. Moreover, she couldn't decipher his summoning method. She had thoroughly analyzed Chaldea's Spiritron Transfer technology in a single night, but this Card-based summoning defied her understanding, as if it were a fundamental law of the world itself.

"You've completely rewritten the rules of combat with your own methods. How did you achieve this? I'd like to discuss it with you."

Rarely encountering technology she couldn't comprehend, Morgan's curiosity was piqued. She directly questioned Jiang You, knowing that such a miracle-defying phenomenon might never occur again. With the Prophecy nearing its fulfillment, she needed to strengthen her position.

"Your magical power is excessively chaotic. In exchange, I can teach you more refined spells."

Clearly, Morgan regarded Jiang You as a naturally gifted prodigy.

This was the first time anyone had asked Jiang You about the principles behind his Noble Phantasms. After all, these artifacts were typically based on objects or techniques once possessed by servants. If Jiang You were a normal Heroic Spirit, he would surely be able to explain them. But Jiang You wasn't, and all he could suggest was that they ask the programmers.

Forcing an explanation would only complicate matters further, so Jiang You deftly steered the conversation elsewhere. Morgan's reason for asking was crystal clear; one might even say she had dedicated millennia to pursuing this very goal.

"Your Majesty Morgan, saving your Britain isn't a matter of combat prowess."

In the 2.6 storyline, Morgan had already reached the peak of her combat abilities, possessing the power to suppress any enemy in the world. Yet she still failed miserably, meeting a tragic end.

"Even if you eradicate every calamity, those anthropomorphic subjects of yours will inevitably drive themselves to ruin."

In Jiang You's view, every fairy in the Land of Faerie was a heavyweight, making Britain nothing more than a cesspool—better off destroyed outright.

"That's none of your concern."

Morgan understood Jiang You's rejection and decided to drop the topic.

"Just one more piece of advice: keep a closer eye on your daughter, Fairy Knight Tristan, also known as Miss Baobhan Sith."

Jiang You had no intention of letting things end so simply. He wanted the Fairy Knight's Deck, so he needed to establish a connection between them. "Your Majesty," he said, "surely you wouldn't want to see her brought before you as just a severed head, displayed alongside your own remains scattered across the floor?"

"Another prophecy?" Morgan's nerves tightened. She was still frantically searching for the Child of Prophecy, and Jiang You's words put her on edge. While she might dismiss an ordinary Magus, Jiang You was capable of rewriting the very rules of the world, even in his untrained, chaotic state.

"Not exactly. If I hadn't intervened, it would have been a prophecy."

What was the fun in blindly following the script? As a player, Jiang You was determined to shake things up. He stated his demands, hoping to snag a reward in the process. "If I just told you straight, you'd doubt it. How about this: we make a deal. I'll give you crucial intelligence. If it proves true, you hand over your Cards."

"My Card, huh?"

Morgan delved into the knowledge bestowed upon her by Jiang You's Noble Phantasms and nodded. It wasn't an unacceptable proposition, merely a welcome diversion from her millennia of monotonous existence.

"Very well, I agree."

Jiang You immediately received a quest: Prove the truth of his claims, with a reward of one Morgan Card and one Bloodstained Throne Card.

Morgan clearly harbored lingering suspicion toward Jiang You. Jiang You, however, had secretly hoped to acquire all three Morgan Cards at once, envisioning himself forcefully dominating the entirety of Part 1's storyline.

"Keep a close eye on your nominal 'husband' and Master, Beryl Gut."

Jiang You had never quite understood why Morgan insisted on keeping Beryl Gut around. Was it merely to corrupt Fairy Tristan? "I can understand wanting Baobhan Sith to learn ruthless tactics from him, given her past lives ended due to her own kindness. But have you considered that even if Baobhan Sith changes her personality this time, at her core, she'll still be that naive fool who trusts others too easily?"

"Find a chance to call her over and ask what she learned about magecraft from that Beryl fellow. She wouldn't lie to you."

Jiang You launched a sneak attack that spanned an entire game, a bullet from version 1.6 striking Beryl in version 2.6. "With your extensive knowledge of magecraft, you'd understand the outcome with a single glance."

"Wait, why are you so familiar with my mother?!" Mordred finally pieced things together: this Morgan was indeed her mother, but not the one she knew. It was a difference like that between Lion King Artoria and King Arthur Artoria. "Are we still having this duel? If not, let's just settle this with blades!"

"Indeed, your familiarity with me is rather unsettling," Morgan replied.

Jiang You noticed far too many details, as if he had been watching her closely all along. He even knew the most minute aspects of Baobhan Sith's affairs, details she herself couldn't have recalled so vividly.

"I'll verify your information. Remember to summon me in the same way three days from now. If it proves true, I'll offer you my support."

"If you wish, you can also try summoning me. You need someone to assist you, don't you? How can you possibly manage Britain with those vermin around you!"

Jiang You knew nothing of politics, but he figured even a trained dog would be more competent than those fools. If he actually made it through, he could not only unlock a new Script but also try to acquire the Fairy Knights' Cards, which seemed far more appealing than the Knights of the Round Table.

Though Jiang You hadn't even managed to collect many Knights of the Round Table Cards himself, he was already eyeing what wasn't on his plate.

Morgan wasn't about to trust Jiang You so easily. She wouldn't dare make promises to a Servant she had only just met. Besides, circumstances forbade it. "Heroic Spirits from Pan-Human History cannot be summoned in my territory. You have no way to respond to me here."

Jiang You wasn't even sure which historical lineage his Heroic Spirit belonged to. "Feel free to try," he said. "It won't cost you anything. If it fails, no harm done."

"Are you done yet?!" Mordred interrupted Jiang You brusquely. "I'm continuing my turn! I activate Mother's [Morgan]'s effect: I banish a [Knight of the Round Table] from my Graveyard and designate a card on the field to be treated as a card with the same name and level!"
