Axel stood on the side of the street, staring at the black tinted glass door in front of him.
Monday rolled around, and with it, so did work. Axel was back at the office after the weekend break. And being at the office also meant grabbing his morning coffee at Drip Point.
Things were different this time, though. Axel was no longer just a frequent customer. Right now, he was the coffee shop's owner's boyfriend…
That alone made him nervous to enter, his cheeks flushed at the mere thought of seeing River again. It hadn't been long since he had last seen the Beta, just a day and a half, and they had exchanged a few messages since then, but still. At least for Axel, a lot had changed, and he didn't know how to act around the man.
Especially since he had his mother's ultimatum weighing heavily on his mind.
