Fuyuki City

February 2

Third POV

In the dead of night, a young woman could be seen walking in the now quiet Cuty of Fyuki.

The young woman possessed aqua eyes and long wavy black hair in a two-side-up hairstyle, consisting of twin tails tied with black ribbons, while the majority hangs loose. She wore the standard uniform, which she accompanied with a long red coat. Her casual clothing consists of a red turtleneck, a black skirt and long black stockings under brown leather flats.

The young woman being, Rin Tohsaka, the "last" living Tohsaka and one of the seven masters participating in the Holy Grail War currently taking place in the City of Fuyuki.

Rin had summoned her servant the prior night, intending to win the War and obtain the Holy Grail for her deceased father and her family's honour, Tohsaka's Honour.

Besides the young woman, invisible to most, was an ethereal figure with short white hair, swept backwards, gray eyes and tanned skin colour.

"Are you absolutely sure that wasn't just some abnormal cat?" The Tohsaka heir muttered to the her servant, Archer.

She hoped what she saw and heard was false, that what happened previously was just her mind playing tricks on her.

Yet another cold voice shattered that hope, one she desperately clung to.

"You were there as well and you saw it well enough, Master." The Heroic Archer said, causing Rin to flinch.

Yes, she to had seen that with her own eyes. While she had thought of it as a possibility but she desperately wished it didn't come to that.

A familiar, an extension of the magus as there is both a mental and physical connection between the two.

Though the familiar itself was not the problem for Rin, the problem is who was holding the familiar in question.

" As if that was simply a familiar." Her servant beside her corrected her. " That felt anything but a familiar. It was as though any single movement from me would have meant death."

That in itself presented a whole plethora of problems, a familiar like being that made even a servant hesitant.

There's no other explanation other than it being due to another servant, but which?

"It should be pretty obvious." Archer added his own input, knowing what his master thought. " It's one of two possible servants, a Caster or a Rider."

"That would make sense", Rin thought to herself.

A caster from Age of Gods should be able to create or summon such a familiar.

Or it could simply be Rider, who could have tamed a beast that he can now summon.

Though both those possibilities were something to be afraid of, only an servant from the Age of Gods could do something like having a familiar beside than that can scare another servant on its own.

"What will you do, Master?" Archer pitied his master, for his Master.

To have to face your own sister in this Holy Grail war.

Making a decision between your possibly last family or your family's honour and your father's legacy.

" So the master of either Rider or Cater, Huh?" Rin bitterly murmured, knowing fully well she had to make a decision.

If Sakura was chosen as a master, did she have a desire that she wished were fulfilled? Would Rin be able trample on those dreams?

Rin shook her head, removing such thoughts. But before she could think or do anything, a voice interrupted her.

" So you know the master of either Caster or Rider, Eh?"

Archer immediately stepped, as he jumped away from the voice with his master in his arms.

A blue-haired, red-eyed man whose primary outfit is a deep ultramarine full body tights covered in Runic protections, stepped out of the shadow of the tree.

Fuyuki City

"Maybe I should have said it in a better manner?" Rider muttered overlooking the city soon to be turned into a battlefield.

As someone reincarnated from a different world, although hazy knew some information about the war to come.

Atleast on how the war is to start and the Servants whom he may need to face.

That was something that Rider wanted to prepare his master for, if she truly desired the Grail.

For she would have to potentially face against Shirou Emiya, someone who held a significant place in her heart.

' Oh well, It's for her to decide whether to fight or not.'

Just then Rider sensed two magical presence clashing against each other, two Servants.

Rider immediately leapt from the building and started heading towards the place he sensed the clash from.

As he drew closer the two presence became clearer, one was what regular Servants would feel like while the other felt like the sun, like something Divine in nature.

Rider leaping across the peaceful city, finally landed on a tall building near the ongoing battle.

' It was bound to happen, Huh?' Rider looked at the two servants fighting, twin swords and spear clashing.

Rider not wanting to be noticed, waved his had causing his body to become hazy to any who could see him.

' Maya should would hide my presence, so long as I don't use all my strength that is.' Rider mused to himself as he observed the ongoing battle, as lancer destroyed Archer's sword.

Seeing the sight infront caused Rider to chuckle.

'Ankit-san?' A sudden voice in Riders head brought his attention out of the battle.

'Master, is something wrong?'

'N-No. I just wanted to when you are returning?' While Rider couldn't see her directly, he could tell from her voice she must be lonely.

'In a few minutes, Master.' Rider could envision his master nodding at his words.

'Please be safe.'

'I will.' Ridersaid assuring the young woman.
