Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner had just left the Civil Affairs Bureau when Alice got a call from Lily Turner. After picking up the phone, she heard her little sister's joyful voice, "Sis! Is the marriage certificate ready? I'm waiting for you at Mom's place. Once you and my brother-in-law have wrapped up everything, hurry back."
Alice Turner went back home to grab the household register, and naturally, Sophia Wood found out about her and Thomas Fisher's plan to get the certificate. Sophia was overjoyed.
Alice had just walked away with the register when she reported the good news to Christopher Turner and Lily.
Christopher Turner had business at his company and couldn't return home quickly, but he promised over the phone to be back to celebrate in the evening.
