When he received the call from Alice Turner, Thomas Fisher had just left the hospital and was heading home. At the moment he saw it was her calling, he thought she was looking for her sister Lily Turner, but the result was quite unexpected.
"I have plenty of time. Where are you now? I'll come to pick you up." Thomas Fisher slowed down the car gradually as he responded, waiting for the person on the other end to give him an address so he could determine which direction to head.
"No need. Just give me the address of the bar." Alice Turner glanced outside the car window, slowing her speed down to a crawl, almost coming to a stop.
This response left Thomas Fisher feeling an inexplicable sense of disappointment. But disappointed as he was, he still gave the bar's address to the person on the phone, "Mese Bar on Jingxi Road!"
After he said that, he waited silently for any response from the other end.
